We can keep adding mids. Jack was a late pick and the name shouldnt preclude us from recruiting a rated player because he plays a similar role. Fogarty has shown more onball.

Rayner and Fogarty both play far better as forwards than in other positions, with Rayner in particular not having the tank to play midfield.

Can't see those 5 in one forward line working which would mean we've burned some top picks.
Need mids.

Reading doggies board seems they would be pretty happy with D. Fogarty...one post said dalrymple rated Fogarty no. 1 prospect prior to the champs when on road to the draft podcast. Rotating Bont and Fogarty in mid & fwd would be handy...not as handy as rotating C. Curnow with him though, gives me a Bonar.

At least a few of these guys will transition into midfielders (Rayner, Fogarty CCurnow all possibilities), but I'd rather take the 'safer' option in Dow or Cerra and then add Fogarty as the riskier pick.

LDU still might get to us if Brisbane take Rayner.

I haven't seen a lot of vids yet - but was super impressed with Hunter Clark.

Seems like the type of player SOS loves.

Fast, gets the hard ball, evasive, kicks well and makes good decisions.

I reckon he will be a star.

I've watched and rewatched Constable's vids and don't find his pace as big of an issue as some phantom drafters do. Was also cleaner and smarter at TAC level. I am now okay if we get him.

i can't believe the crap that gets spun on here. Cyril Rioli had to learn a new technique won a norm smith and a few GFs after that. Didn't ruin his career.

I think that Tim Kelly would be a good option at 10 , excellent skills , attacking and hunting the ball always , ready to go. Soild character too.
May be a mature age player , but that should not be a barrier.

Yes we need mids but we also need forwards because the ones we've got aren't getting the job done. More competition for places is a good thing.

Besides there's a fair chance that Fogarty and/or Rayner will be able to play forward and mid.

For as long as I can remember being on this site, we always fall in love with the player wth the cannon left foot, but, never select them. We need ball getters in the first round, not a ball user, that’s for 30 if we deem it a need. We can have a forward line of gold, but if the middle is lead, the back line better be steel, coz, it’s gunna rain if our midfield is below par. We need to develop that midfield, which will make our forwards job so much easier and busier. To be honest, I’d rather retain Boekhorst. If you want a good kick at 10 - Hunter Clark or Fogarty or Coffield.

I’m not huge on O’Brien at 10 as well, rather Fogarty, Clarke or even Constable to a degree, although I have him around 10-15 bracket so wouldn’t be a shock....he seems to have some aspects of his game that are elite like his tank and foot disposal, Blaine was not even near elite at anything. Lochie would compliment a clearance player like Cripps, and Dow if he was added to the mix.

We don’t have this type of player on our list, for me if he has good decision making under pressure, determination to improve and elite competitiveness (things it didn’t seem our previous recruiting dept look at close enough) than I wouldn’t be upset with his selection at 10 if it were to arise. In SOS we trust.
