Surprises me that Crosier had 29 touches. Hardly noticed him but there you go, good on him.
He did get a lot of it but not damaging. Grey is quiet by his own standard but his inside 50 is spot on. Suban is anytime anywhere in wafl.

If Crozier and Suban had 29 each, I would say Suban's were substantially better in terms of impact. Some of his passing was sensational, and I am not a huge fan.

Croz certainly tried hard all day and tackled well but I thought his disposal was decidedly average.

Too generous , below average . let not forget he drop a high flyer and turn over and allow opposition to score. Croz fan come at me all you like , the true is hard to accept sometime

Ross : if you want to take a high flyer near boundary make sure you mark it or let the ball go out.

If I had to choose, I'd rather a 3 possession AFL game in Rd1 from Crozier, than Suban. Crozier would give away less frees.

I rather deluca or grey . 50 games all we can remember is the Geelong game . Duffy already delisted.

I think they are starting to build something really special down at Mandurah meima. :thumbsu:

Wondering how many Dockers players in that WAFL Watch report are eligible for next Saturday evenings Round 1 of the WAFL Peel vs East Perth clash, and whether there's another chance for these players that played against WP to show they've got what it takes to step up for Round 1 against Geelong in the AFL.

There's a spot up for grabs and it doesn't seem to me that anyone has banked any significant pre-season game time after Round 1 of the JLT series to put them ahead of anyone else.

Going into the Geelong game you would think the selectors would want to have the option of putting Walters into the midfield for a spell - so its a bit of a dilemma what type of player you should replace Ballantyne with.

Our forward 50 entry numbers have been pretty solid in the pre-season, so small forward might not be as much as a graveyard as it was last year.

At not too much cost to the overall structure of the team they can cover Ballantyne with a rotating combination of Landgon, D.Pearce and B.Hill . Crozier looked quite sharp with limited time vs Collingwood, but he also came on late when he was fresh late in the game in hot conditions - and I agree with a few others here who think that he seemed to have found a spot across half back last season before he was injured.

Of the others it doesn't seem to me that Suban and Sheridan have any more significant claims for a spot than Grey or Balic. Hopefully, what looks to me like a kick up the backside makes Sheridan realise that he's at the point in his time at Fremantle where he should be doing better.

I am not too worry about sherriden as he always in front of ross Lyon queue come straight back in whoever is injured.

Grey is on the rookie list and I have stated why elevate a rookie when he won't get a game but I think its time for Brady. He tackles and chases like a man possessed, has worked hard on his kicking, can pinch hit in the midfield and we all know he gives 100% no matter what the state of the game. The perfect replacement for Balla. Come on selection panel you know I'm right.;)

That's how it may seem but he hasn't played since the West Coast game JLT one - and if Ross's formula for Round 1 minutes stays on message - Sheridan hasn't earnt a spot.

That's why it will be interesting who can play in Round 1 of the WAFL. Grey obviously can because he's a rookie listed player...but isn't it supposed to be a bye for AFL players, unless the club asks for some kind of special permission to play them. Usually that's because they've missed time with injury.

He's performed pretty well in the couple of AFL level games he's played too. The effort's certainly there, some consistent game time would be good for him.
