The start of a great season starts at the pre-season, hope the boys realise this sets the foundation for the entire year. Hope they all give it 100% as l am sure they will to get in the coach's good books.

To be fair most of the senior guys are over at Reddo's wedding on the weekend so to get back for monday morning is a bit of an ask. We'll probably see a few filter in over the next week or so i'd imagine, once they're all back in brisbane.

They were damn noisey that's for sure, only caught little snippets of the training but all seemed in good nick. Seemed a little nervous around chris fagan though hahaha

Given the new regime, the question marks over culture and some individuals, and the message that Fagan wants standards set by the youth of the team, it is entirely possible that the older guys were told not to come.
It may be that Fagan only wants the 1-4 year players there, so he can focus on those and make sure his messages are addressed directly only to those guys.
Also given Close and Beams injury history, it is believable that they may be exceptions to the age/experience rule.
I wouldn't be hanging anyone for not being there.

I think you're overstating the importance of the senior players being there for the first session. The fact is most of them are still on holidays in different parts of the world.

Mayes, Close and Paps are all from the same draft year and they're all there. I think 'four or fewer years of experience' is inclusive.

Wonder if Skoob is correct. Might want to develop a rapport with the younger guys first and try to instil all the correct stuff before workong on the senior blokes.

Matt Eagles 12:49 for 3km, would've thought he'd come in better shape than that. Looking at his instagram, he's quite into his weight lifting, will have to balance it out now so he can improve his aerobic capacity.

Looking on the SC stories, they were in the ice baths and Dawso looked in agony he was that cold. As they were about to get out, someone stopped at the top preventing others from leaving. There were all these yells from the others and Dawson was like "hurry up... get out" Was hilarious
