Any team that manages to win 7 games and get relegated is surely a genuine chance to win the flag, but what else have they added that makes you think they will be head and shoulders above everyone else?Glen Eira absolute certainties for the flag
A few from Ormond, not top end , but handy players who will get game time , also they have recruited a very good ruckman.Any team that manages to win 7 games and get relegated is surely a genuine chance to win the flag, but what else have they added that makes you think they will be head and shoulders above everyone else?

Who did they merge with this time?Glen Eira absolute certainties for the flag
Go knows , but it wouldn't surprise me if they have another name change soon.Who did they merge with this time?
Who did they merge with this time?
I guess you would like to see clubs fold rather than still retain some history. Players from the local clubs Glen Eira have merged with can at least have a game of footy. Worry about your own club rather than denigrating GE. Things like player records and honors are retained for history as well as reunions players from these clubs have. You sir and your mate Bedford are just haters.Who did they merge with this time?
Poaching.....Why is he my friend and who said I hate you. My problem is the poaching from the local high school.
Viable in D3 , perhaps develop your own.Poaching.....
Hahahahahaha.
Offering a viable alternative more like. You make it sound like they're being lured.
Hahahahaha.
Both the school and the people who attend are intelligent enough to make their own decisions. Perhaps focus on making your prop a better one.
Too funny.
Tried hard but clubs like Ormond etc stopped us from developing our juniors. It's called innovation not poaching.Viable in D3 , perhaps develop your own.
It was NOT the senior club , but the surrounding junior clubs like St Pauls. OJFC, Murrumbeena etc.Tried hard but clubs like Ormond etc stopped us from developing our juniors. It's called innovation not poaching.
So how are we poaching. It was NOT the senior club , but the surrounding junior clubs like St Pauls. OJFC, Murrumbeena etc.
Wait, are they the saints or the gryphons?Any truth to the rumour that there is an asterisk next to the 2016 flag on the Monash Glen Eira Saints Gryphons honour board?
I've heard someone down those parts developed a conscience and thought it would be the right thing to do given the circumstances.

Of course they can play wherever they like. OFC has helped out a fair bit with MSC over the years and have several players who are teachers there. It started with an obsession from the GE President to have juniors only to be blocked by surrounding junior clubs and the SMJFL . The SMJFL appointed the OFC Pres to head up a feasibility study and he came back with a report that there were too many junior clubs in the area.Genuine question as I am both intrigued and confused by the reference to McKinnon SC. Is there some sort of formalised agreement between McKinnon Sec and Ormond?
I would assume that kids from a school that does not have an affiliated senior club would go off in many different directions based on geography or where they played juniors, e.g. St Pauls, Bentleigh, M’Beena, Ormond, Caulfield, GES etc. (in fact the club that occupies the ground directly opposite the school in Bedders favourite league probably has the most legitimate claims!)
Perhaps Ormond have assisted with school footy or tipped money into the school for development. If so then I get the angst but otherwise would they not be free to play wherever they want?

It was put to the OFC senior committee and they decided that we had NO problems with GE having juniors and had the view that kids should be playing anywhere. This had nothing to do with OFC and the SMJFL should not have appointed someone involved with the club , be it seniors or juniors.
We had no problems with GE having juniors, the problem is that GE has a couple of people at the school working for GE.
They have every right to do it , personally I'm just disappointed after many years helping the juniors .
It is , just frustrated.Fair enough and can understand the disappointment. But to accuse of poaching in these circumstances might be a tad unfair.

I think we can all agree that be it for cheating or poaching GEMSG are a blight on the competition, and will unquestionably be the Hawthorn Ammos of 2016.
2016 was a particularly bad year on this front. Hopefully relegation will have knocked some humility into them. Doubt it though.Did you mean 2018, or were Hawthorn more dastardly a couple of seasons ago than they are usually?
