Yup I am the person who posted that . My argument Graham and Koenan are not ready made back up if May or Thompson go down . So need to draft/trade in a mature body KPD into the system ,because Allir signed 3 years with Sydney .ALLIR signed with Swans for 3 years
I would think given the logjam for spots that we could delist him and then bring him back on the rookie list and pay him whatever we want to pay him.
Even so cant see him getting a game..
Would he want to play NEAFL all year?
Mwhats he averaging a game this year? 10?

Not for me been in the system 8 years had enough chances , never established a permanent spot in two lowly sides not sure he can improve our side.
Cannot see how he gets a regular spot in our best 22 !
May as well try somebody whose never had the same chances (VFL WAFL SANFL) may find a diamond.

He just needs to keep up his current form and stay fit to get extended. Offers depth and gets through the work to allow flashier players to excel.I think Lonergan will get another offer from us
Koenen played more minutes at CHB for the Allies than Graham and he's been playing well in the NEAFL. I'd say by now every scout in the AFL knows precisely who Koenen is. NEAFL side only playing against AFL reserves for the rest of the NEAFL season with a shortage of tall players at the club, so we will likely see Graham and Koenen getting flogged each week in the ruck as they were on Saturday.Graham and Scott will be bid on in the ND so that's something we must factor in. Koenen is unknown at this stage but it's entirely possible he gets bid on as well. If the AFL give us an end of first round priority pick then I doubt we'll have any issues matching bids for our academy players. Perhaps if we're really shrewd, we can package the West Coast pick and the priority pick for another top 10 pick this year. Bringing in another three top 10 picks, as well as our three academy players, would be a good outcome for us.

I bet you Graham will not go Second Rd .I'll bet you Koenen is not taken in the National Draft
I bet you Graham will not go Second Rd .
But he's worth it. We are hiding him. He's a talent.I bet you Graham will not go Second Rd .
GC don't even Hide Crossley an MVP U18 and yet nobody dare to bid on him until GC drafted him at 50 . Other team need to look at their overall list and Rate accordingly , you might rate him top 30 , but other club might rate him at rookie list or pick 60+, other club will still interview Graham , just look at 2016 ND draft that go deep .

Pick 53 Jack Graham
Pick 58 Matt Deboer
Pick 60 Narkle
Pick 66 luke Ryan
Pick 67 Brad sheer
Pick 74 Harry Morrison
Last pick pick 77 father and son Jake Waterman .
Internally Supporter will always rated their players higher . Opposition club will not bid on GC academy players (koenan and graham ) if eg at second Rd or third round their need is a midfield players /mature body plug and play and not a KPP or ruckmen . Every club have their own order of top 30-50 list .
I will take that bet. Koenen has gone past Graham in many respects and both are the ideal Bont/Fyfe/Cripps height that recruiters crave. Koenen is also the oldest possible Draft age, being born on New Year's Day, so he's got over 9 months on Graham. The Allies coach preferred Koenen to Graham, while both are automatic starters in the NEAFL because they are the tallest players available apart from Leslie.I'll bet you Koenen is not taken in the National Draft
This kind of thing should be a priority for the Suns and the AFL. Get a player who is looking to move into coaching who still has talent to offer on the field in the NEAFL. We could have had Andrew Swallow, who is one of the highest vote winners in the NEAFL. If guys like Rischitelli and Barlow ran around for a season of NEAFL and progress through their coaching qualifications they'd have an ideal pathway to post-footy careers and they are high character clubmen who's leadership and example will continue to rub off on younger players at the club. If Eddie Sansbury can play NEAFL, surely there is a role or two that can be created in order to give us effectively more list spots.I can't see what he adds that is worthy of a spot in a rebuilding team that due to poor contracting will have limited spots available. Maybe the club can find a role for him in some capacity and he can play NEAFL.
I think you misunderstand me , what I am saying is Rookie list , low draft pick might still get you good players .Jayden Short ,Llyod , holman,Ronke ,banfield ,grower, papley(Sydney academy ) all rookie pick . Just because I said he is Rookie pick does not mean he is not a good player or cannot make it . Your concept of if Graham is not pick in ND draft he cannot make it is so outdated .I'm highly confident we have a player in Graham. Quote me in 3-4 years if I'm wrong.

Scheer fell to #67 because everybody knew that bidding on him was a waste of time. Who does it serve unless a club really wants that player and bids earlier than the Suns were prepared to pay. The same thing happened with Crossley. Nobody bid because they knew their bid would be matched. This year will be different because the Suns will have picks at both the top and the bottom of the Draft and their number of list spots vacated will determine how aggressive they have to be and show opponents how many players they are going to target. If there are 8 players delisted/traded and 2 free agents brought in, then the Suns are going to want 3 first round picks and then take the Academy players as they come. 10 list spots vacated means the more flexibility for the bottom of the draft and likelihood that the Suns will hope to be able to nab some players in the Rookie Draft.GC don't even Hide Crossley an MVP U18 and yet nobody dare to bid on him until GC drafted him at 50 . Has Ballard become what we hoped Scrimshaw was going to be? I still think Scrimshaw has a lot to offer but Ballard has been tremendousme too and we have Ballard who will be flying in 2019
Ballard was just more ready to play. By the way as much I think giving pick 2 for Weller was stupid we got Ballard because of it!Has Ballard become what we hoped Scrimshaw was going to be? I still think Scrimshaw has a lot to offer but Ballard has been tremendous

That would be Larke Medal winning Jack Graham going 3rd round. Goes to show that recruiters undervalue the U18 National Championships.Any player named Graham at #53 - You cant lose
