If we give up pick 3-5 or whatever we end up with for lynch as compo for Lloyd plus a later pick coming back I reckon we have been had again!!The west coast pick 14-17 we get should get it done easily for Lloyd considering Sydney accepted pick 14 for Tom Mitchell. Those 2 picks we end up with in the top 5 should be non touchable in this draft we have plenty of later picks to trade with and play around with.

The west coast pick should get it done or even the end of 1st round priority pick if we get one

Well that’s great to hear. I’m sure you can understand we’re all about on edge about who else might be leaving with this Lynch drama

Thanks for the insights Gromma, I think you will find we all want Jack to stay and thrive for the GC and see so much potential in him, I guess we’re all just alittle scarred by history and by all the Vic Media talk about our good young kids getting homesick and wanting to head home.

Swans would be desperate to get 3 rather than 10.. to get inside the bid for Blakey. You can squeeze a lot harder than that. Add Neuman at a min. Maybe even a future. For them P10 will be gone anyway. If they do not want to pay .. put Lloyd in the psd.
 
Probably should wait until the evaluation of possible draftees is finished.

If the players at the top of our draft board are rated super high (and it seems they will be), then don't trade those high picks for anything less than an elite player (Dylan Shiel level).

We don't need more talent, we need some elite talent. Best chance in this draft is in the top 5. So stay there.

Totally agree this seems to be a no brainer so no doubt we will do something stupid to **** it up.

Pick 2 and 3 will be our best picks since our inaugural year, if we are serious about a rebuild then we must use them to get elite kids.

We're such an easy target at the moment. The media has a quota and need to sell papers, so they will just do the lazy option and assess who isn't getting a game at GC and just say 'they want to come to VIC'.

This is good.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was 'open' to a move home but equally just as happy to stay and work through it.

I remember May at the start of the year mentioning that he was still a pre-season off playing AFL footy. That prediction seems to have come to fruition. In the second halves of NEAFL his output drops off dramatically. He really needs to build the tank required and he could make it into the 1s. There's a spot for him there.

Hell no, he's clapped out. His best years of footy are well and truly behind him. No more old duds who aren't capable of making a significant difference to our on field best 22 team and aren't capable of getting a game at another club.

I agree tenfold with this, If Sydney want pick 3 lets squeeze the life out of them for it.

Send in the Coch and get it done.

Hannebery has always been a woeful kick. Now he isn’t getting much of it. ?Injured, he is just not an effective low possession player.

If we can get him for pennies I’d do it. 3rd rounder or something, anything more then definite no from me.
