Been told Rigby is a gem much better with people work ethic than Cordy.

Quality family
Quality person
He will leave no stone unturned to achieve the best possible outcomes for The Suns
This will be a personal Crusade for Alex (and his Dad who has his own views on the soft tissue injuries sustained by our 18yo's early years)

Critical we get high performance/rehab right this time. Not sure if Suns web site reflected the actual situation but we had 2-3x less staff in high performance team than e.g. Hawks. Basically only 2 people plus scientist and cadet. Now Football staff page is down.

We had 11-12 soft injuries this year if I counted correctly. Even Crows had less. Average is 4-5 per team per season. Lions had 1.

I know its was not meant for me but as an outsider looking in

#10-#15

Probably about right - depends if your using the Tom Mitchell or the Lachie Weller trade value scale.

That's why there is no incentive to trade him if we are getting potentially a top 5 pick next year and use of his services for another year when we need him, with a chance to convince him to stay long-term.

Key defenders like him I’d want a top 10 pick at a minimum.
Lever went for 2 first rounders
Very different comparison to Jake Lever mainly due to age and ability, Not saying May is a crap player but 27 years old and only 130 games and being under sized for a full back - I would take Lever every day of the week if given the choice but different players

100% Agree with this , It doesnt add up to trade him this year imo as i believe you guys would get a top 3 pick next year as a free agent (not that im saying the suns are crap but more where your list will be at in 12 months time) Will be much better in 24-36 months time but 2019 i believe bottom 3

The only way you trade him out is if the suns accept that they will be bottom 3 & May will be a unhappy and a negative on the playing group the you trade him out and take your pick (hope its a top 10) But more likely i would say Pies 1st rounder and 2019 2nd rounder or a player Sier/Phillips would be the player i would be asking for.

But if May goes then think about the front loading of players salaries the suns would be doing in 2019 with Lynch,May,Hall all off the list
I can see suns going hard after free agents with a sh!t load of cash on long deals to top up the talent already there

one of our posters asked what we each thought he was worth. I replied.

He’s 26 not 27 and his height is irrelevant if he can perform the role.
Not trying to be pedantic but turns 27 in january when he plays his next game, Height does make a difference when a player like May only has limited height and pace. Playing against Hawkins would be ok but Daniher,Cameron,Riewoldt,Hogan,Curnow etc he will struggle against

May is actually very quick. Was one of those picked for the grand final sprint in 2016

I think the GF sprint is just a joke to be honest we have seen players like Fevola run in these races

I have seen May do extremely well against players body on body but usually gets outpaced with leading fowards with pace but in saying that Tom Lynch is also pretty slow

He’s too old, too slow, not tall enough or strong enough.
