I expect something along those lines.

Without wanting to stick my head above the parapet to defend the industry I work in (market research), it was the interpretation of the US Presidential Election research that was wrong, not the surveys themselves. They each showed a chance of Trump winning within the margin of error; it's just that none of the pundits (and the public) wanted to believe he could, so they made the choice to call it 'easily' for Hillary.

Masters also wasn't researched as a great rival to Bunnings; it was a purely commercial strategic decision that failed. Happens a lot, and research is not to blame.

You can't research against stupid unfortunately, and some of the ways that people choose to interpret research is just stupid.

Seems pretty average that the difference in reward between a 5 year member and a 49 member is the colour of your membership card and the value of a voucher which I expect will be nominal.

Surely Beers with the CEO for 25-49 year members is warranted

Assume they will start organising paid events for PRO for interstate games and that you get one for free OR there will be a one off each season that members get to go to for free? Good way to make some extra dollary doos if they started doing that regularly.

I think including the voucher for gold and above is a big improvement as is. Maybe a different value for platinum?

Previously your entitlements after 4 years of membership didn't change until 50 years...
