Yep love Phillip, love his outward emotion, competitiveness and toughness. Chargers been my second fav team since I started watching the NFL cause of LT and Rivers. Just wish they were still in San Diego :(

Another classic Phillip moment, unhappy with a play call??? take your helmet off and yell into the head set!!

It does worry me that the Chargers offense has been a bit shaky recently. They haven't really had a great performance since the Chiefs game (admittedly against 2 good defenses in those 3 games).

One of the things with the Chargers is that they are slow starters on O, like they don't script plays well. But Rivers finds a way to adjust in the 2nd and 4th quarters. Problem is you're playing Bill Belichick this week, that won't fly, you need points from the get go.

Another thing is, the Pats secondary is fckn elite and can handle the Chargers receivers. Gordon's play will be a tell tale sign, but also the Pats, who I think have a top tier run game, will have to rely on that part of their offense.

When you factor in the weather (doesn't look like it will snow anymore tho), it could turn out to be a really low scoring contest, like 17-14 something

Probably whoever has the ball last out of Brady or Rivers wins, 21-17

Also could see like, 7-3 at half time, both teams really slow

But then game finishes 28-24 or something. Pats have a knack of starting slow in big games, Chargers have been starting slow all year. Both teams great at adjustments.

Ironically the Chargers key to winning might be that they start slow, and therefore have the advantage over Belichick as he doesn't know what to adjust to, but to continue on doing what is working, whilst Rivers cracks the code and exploits them in the 2nd half for a few TD's

Out there but who knows

NFL Mock Draft 2019: Eagles trade Nick Foles to Raiders to move up to No. 4 overall

Trevor Sikkema of The Draft Network has the Eagles trading Nick Foles AND their first 2019 first-round pick to move up to No. 4 overall to select Alabama defensive tackle Quinnen Williams.

What quarterback Nick Foles is doing for the Eagles for the second season in a row is incredible, but they’re just not going to give up on Carson Wentz. He is still the guy no matter how far Foles goes — I think?

Foles will turn 30 years old this month, but as we’ve seen from around the NFL, early 30s can be where a quarterback really hits his stride — Foles certainly seems to be. Tell me Jon Gruden wouldn’t pull the trigger on this deal to get a veteran, playoff-winning quarterback while also acquiring more draft picks for new GM Mike Mayock.

Foles’ contract includes both a team and player opt in/out this offseason. On the Eagles’ side, they can choose to sign Foles for $20 million guaranteed for one more year. For Foles, he can choose to pay back $2 million of his signing bonus and be a unrestricted free agent, regardless of the team’s desires. Foles will likely do that latter, as it could allow him to sign for more money on the open market. But Eagles’ GM Howie Roseman is a heckin’ wizard, and perhaps he can convince Foles to signed and get $20 million guaranteed while promising to trade him to a team of interest that would likely sign him to an extension.

Likely? No, but the Eagles will do whatever they can to get something out of Foles. Perhaps this is it.

Anyways, Philly sees their chance to get the best interior defensive lineman in the draft (a need), they make the call, they get Quinnen.

One stat Rivers outshines Brady is in the amount of kids he has. Doesn't he have 10 kids or something like that?

I'll be rooting for a Chargers-Colts and ultimately a Chargers vs Rams SB. That'd be cool.
Wouldn't NFL head office loooooove an all Los Angeles Superbowl.

The Chargers to stick long-term in LA need a boost in the arm like a SB win.

Come on hair?? Really...but if we are talking hair Brees has been clinging on to the scraps that are left on top of his head for as long as I can remember. ;)

GG.exe has been off Williams from a while back, and after watching yesterday's game I don't blame him, didn't get within cooee of Lawrence. Last two games against quality opponents have been bog ordinary in fact.

Not saying he won't still be a decent player, but the game wrecker some people seem to think he is, im not convinced either.
