out of curiosity, i assume 1870 Black Diamond is the highest level of membership?

If so, why is it in the Eastern stand, and not the Western (Essential Open Choice)? Surely for day matches the most expensive memberships end up looking into the sun?

When I was a kid I remember someone at school trying to tell people that KFC was actually rabbit meat, I can still remember coming home and telling my Dad who laughed and said it was nonsense because rabbit meat was around twice the price of chicken.

Quick question... If Port's premium Black Diamond membership is "Sold Out" and there is a wait list... why is it that "GA members can now sit in Black Diamond for only $30" a game, that price being slashed from $60 last year...

I also noticed that everybody paying more than about the equivalent to our Category 3 Silver members gets guaranteed grand final access.

At some point those 3 gamers were supposed to convert to something more valuable? Great that so many people are getting to sample mediocrity at the lower membership tiers but surely that's not paying the bills.

Port operate under a theory that if you create artificial shortages that it will drive up demand and improve retention rates, clearly black diamond is also a part of this strategy.

I like Caro (except when she goes 100% Tigers ... never go full-tigers).

Her points are spot on re:Tassie. Weak by the AFL, weak by Hawthorn. Self interest always rules.

Give us one Tassie club ... let us own the region with an academy ... fund our development leagues.

A new team, our colours ... based out of Hobart.

I've seen worse mock-ups than this one:

No it won't be a cash cow, but it will be supported and sustainable. (cough cough Gold Coast, cough cough cough GWS, cough Victorian struggle clubs)

I cant wait till no one goes to them and they have 3 million to embarrass themselves with in 2019.

North Melbourne remind me of the guy in school who will go around asking every girl out on a date in the hope that one of them will finally says yes.

Every year for the last three years they have waved around million dollar cheques, but no one has any interest in going there. It is quite funny to see them continually going into trade week with a massive warchest only to walk out empty handed.
