Dyson Heppell never again. Twice I've been sucked in by him. Poor poor move.

Tom Lynch

Not even once (more)
KPPs in general. I always pick up 1 (usually Buddy) and still have been somewhat pleased as he's given me an average that I can't complain about (90+), he just hasn't had those monster scores I was hoping for.

Even in what is a crapshoot of a forward line, Yeo, Macrae, Dahlhaus, Greene, Heeney, Billings, Wallis, Nank (bench) ... we've seemed to have just enough to field 6 premiums. If you end up with Yeo, Macrae, Dahlhaus, Greene and Heeney you've nailed the forward line. Pick your last for the F6 spot that will net you 90+.

Always get sucked into a KPP after they drop 70k in 2 weeks with a couple of bad scores.

yeah. Mine currently are Greene, Dal, Heen, Yeo , Lynch, Nank and looping Greenwood.

So could be worse, though could be a lot better

Marc Murphy - never again. Got sucked in after his first 3 scores and jumped on at $510k, thinking it was a bargain. Has averaged ~97 in the 10 rounds since I brought him in and is now under $500k. Amazing to think that his first 3 rounds inflate his yearly average from 97 to 107. Makes Treloar (105 avg, had him in Rd 1 team) look like an inspired pick in comparison. Should have gone with Josh Kelly instead, was very similarly priced after Rd 3.

On the bright side, I luckily avoided Heath '1 tonne after Rd 1' Shaw.

Don't forget Piggy Oliver & fwd picks Sexy Robbie & yep u guessed it Billingsssss
Don't pick Oliver or your team will dive down in the rankings

Selecting Sam Butler has been a bad move.
I started with him even though he wasn't selected round 1 knowing he would come good.

He finally gets a game then Simmo places a shed load of cash on Jack Watts for the Brownlow and drops Butler that same week.

I think not Simmo. ****in sus mate.

So now I got no chance at the 50k as my team has missed Butler's SP premo scoring and Sammie will have to rewrite the record books in order to win the Charlie from here.

So my never again list nominee is Adam Simpson the campaigner

I'm obviously biased towards this guy, but at the moment he's on his way to MID/FWD next year so I'll definitely be considering him assuming that happens...

...Sam Menegola
Crazy consistent.

18 games:
42, 56, 77
4 x 80-90
5 x 90-100
3 x 100-110
along with 123, 126 and 134

With a ceiling in the 120s, you will take a score of 77 and a handful in the 80s. Will only get better too. If forward, may well be a shoe in.

What was the reasoning behind his 42 against the eagles 2 weeks ago? I missed the game.

Pretty sure his 42 was just a really sh*t game to be honest, the only excuse I could give him is that Cockatoo injured his hammy early in the game so maybe Menegola had to play more Forward and that's why he didn't get as many touches, otherwise he was just very poor.

Fair enough, they all have them. Better than Lynch's ****ing 37 points that week though!

Got the FWD DPP status in fantasy a few weeks ago so see how CD translate it next year.

If I start with 12 premos thinking this.

Doch and two of Lloyd/Laird/Roberton
Danger, Zerrett, Neale, Bont, Jelwood
Gawn,
Dahl, Greene and one of Billings/Petracca

Never again: Shaw, Beams, GCS Lynch.

Roberton, Hurley,
Greenwood, Ainsworth
Draper, Pederson
Cameron, Patton

Pretty good list.

Would add NicNat to my list, as well Robbie Gray as a M/F (in place of McRae who will probably loses his DPP status)

Yep, I've had Lynch all season which hasn't been fun :(

I reckon Menegola will get MID/FWD next year, but he'll be a massive POD with guys like R. Gray, Heeney, Petracca, Billings, Greene all probably available up forward next season.

"WEST Coast is unlikely to have superstar ruckman Nic Naitanui back this season, coach Adam Simpson says."

No worries mate just take your time Nic Nat, just have the rest of the year off and have a big pre-season ready for Round 1 next year :thumbsu:

If Gawn/NN is not your starting set/forget line up next year, you are doing SC wrong.

I think many were swayed by his GF performance, which he only got a 90 odd, and by his great start to the year.
His inability to stay on the park was number one.
He was a prime target for the tag, which has been proven in the last few weeks.
Bulldogs couldnt keep up their game style.
His price was inflated given his previous output.
Even if he replicated he last years ave which was a significant jump on his previous best he still wasnt in top ten def. Banking on improvement again and that doesnt happen at his age.
and finally
I just dont think he is that good.

He was just in the right place at the right time.

He is 24. Prime breakout age. Look at Roberton this year as a counter example to rules about what age you can break out as a defender.

Idk about all this stuff where "he is prime target for tag" (all rebounders are to some degree) or that dogs "couldn't keep up their game style" (many predicted dogs to improve this year).

I just think it was a 50:50 call. I don't really like him either (bad haircut and poor DE), in the end the only reason I didn't pick him was inj history (prefer higher ceiling eg Adams if taking on inj risk).

Would have gone there no doubt if a bit cheaper.... and would likely go there in 2018 as he will be well unders due to this crap run.

Fyfe, Murphy and Beams added to the Never Again List :knife:

Buddy is damn close to joining them

TLynch should also be added to the list, but if the Suns eventually improve their kicking/ball movement next year, he'll be a 110 averaging KPF
Fyfe are you kidding. Will be a lock in every serious team.
