You could probably get Naughton for either Burton or Sicily then upgrade a forward (I assume that's where you need the money for)

So you'll be taking the Dangerfield hit for a couple of matches ......big disadvantage if you're going SC overall ....but also potentially the (C) disadvantage

For me, Mitchell replaced Danger .....i have the (C) on him R1

I've just downgraded Danger to Ablett (and I'm flirting with Neale) and left the rest as is (the way I liked it). It leaves me a lot of money in the bank but I don't see where I can spend it that'd be useful. I could upgrade Marchbank or Rayner, I suppose, but I'd rather see some real scores first (to narrow my choices down).

I like the Beams selection. Haven\t seem him in many teams. If he stays fit, he's a bargain and will see you with an advantage over most. If he stays fit...
I dislike the Grundy selection. With Cox looking like being given an extended opportunity in the side, I worry that his center bounce attendance will drop on last season and likely his scoring potential along with it.
Also don't like the Christensen selection. Just don't see him as SC relevant.

For me it would be Burton. You know what you are going to get with Crouch. We really don't know with Burton yet. JLT was disappointing.

Got any plans if Danger is a late out?

To be honest, I think I'd hold. My focus is usually more on my league wins (money leagues) than overall ranking.

I know I'm going to need Danger by the end and hopefully he just misses Round 1. I've got other captain options, and should get a serviceable score off the bench to cover half the damage.

Even if Danger's replacement (Kelly most likely) went 150.... I'm hoping Mitchell will be fine as captain and a rookie could get me 70pts.

Not worth a trade to get Danger in later for the 80 points (best case scenario). That's with fingers crossed that he doesnt miss 2 or 3.

Pretty set on this for Rd1 now.
Don't have too much of a choice cause I'm about to hop on a cruise ship for 9 days and will have limited access to the internet.
Mostly guns and rookies save for Omeara and Armo in the mids. Hoping that all the rest of the picks will do well enough to keep or at least be D7/F7 or luxury upgrade last few rds of season. (Who am I kidding, I'll run out of trades well before that)

If I were you i would piss off Burton for a rookie like Naughton and upgrade Sicily to Hibberd.

That will leave you with plenty of $$$

Need to replace Ahern in your forward line. Won't play for the first few rounds at least. Also keep an eye on teams. Piggy Oliver in doubt.

What do we all think will happen to Danger’s price after say 5 rounds? I can’t see it staying that high. Might be a chance to pick him up a little cheaper if you hold fire.

I think this probably the final iteration (at least for today!).
I may decide to free up some cash to bring in Danger. Only 27k in the bank with this team. Not 100% sold on Savage, Sicily, Walters, Smith or Mclean yet.


Any suggestions? or alternatives to those mentioned above

touted as the number one trainer over summer, this year is in best 22 so will get games, 4th year breakout a big possibility!
In saying all that I don't have him, I want him, but just so cautious of sydney, melbourne and western bulldogs mids as their are so bloody many of them and just don't know how much time in the centre he will get. Harmes another at Melbourne who could breakout. who do you choose?? i'm going trac as he will be given as many minutes as he can handle in the centre and he is a very very good user of the ball.
