Guess you could say I'm an adelaide itk actually.. FWIW this is what I've heard from a very very good source

- Betts 100% wants out
- Sloane is the skipper, Tex splits the playing group up the middle.
- the camp was a disaster and Tex went off his nut when it hit the news
Betts? First i have heard.
Why? And where do i think he would go?
Port to stay home, back to blues for mates, follow Charlie to brissy, just highest bidder?

Maybe Bevo already knows that Roughead has committed to a club & refuses to play him, it just doesn't add up that he's not in there best 22.
It adds up to me.
Hes not that good.
Hickey is better, and hickey is probably a dud.

Yes he was in a premiership.
So was sharrod Wellington, chris dawes and heriterer lalalabumba.

It was mentioned on Radio the other day Eddie is not too happy ATM

Not sure , it might have something to do with the pre season camp , dont quote me on that
It was reported he was devastated by what he was put through on the camp. Affected him and his family for a number of weeks afterwards. The report attributed his poor start to the season to what happened on the now infamous camp. No details as to what was said or done were given. I can feel a doco coming on at the end of the year.

He ain’t going to Essendon, and it definitely isn’t the case of ‘if we want him, we’ll get him’.
Have a think about it, despite barracking for us as a club when younger (even though we were 1 of 2 clubs in the whole league NOT to interview him in his draft year) what would make us more appealing than Richmond or Collingwood right now?

The fact that we are closer to a premiership than either of them?

Failing that, much much MUCH more money

Would we be willing to trade out talent to bring in talent? When I say talent it includes the likes of Paddy, Dunstan, Goddard.
Would trade all 3 without blinking
Would take pick 10 - 20 for Paddy

Ha I’m glad you’re not list manager . Some of his field kicking lately has shown signs of why he was picked at 1 . He’s improving, just coming from a long way back
Good to see our pick 1 from 4 years ago is showing good signs with some field kicking, if i was list manager we would never have picked a 1 position player who is not suited to today's game style with diabetes when we were crying out for mids

Indicative draft order as at R12.

Insights:
  • Gold Coast, Carlton, Adelaide, Brisbane and Port Adelaide (in that order) have the strongest hands in terms of draft points
  • Melbourne, West Coast, Richmond and Fremantle have the weakest hands in terms of draft points
  • Fremantle should be looking to get back into the draft through trade
  • North may be open to an aggressive trade to get them a pick before a bid for Tarryn Thomas
  • Sydney may be open to an aggressive trade to get them a pick before a bid for Nick Blakely
What's with all those 4th round picks? We must have had the idea that there would be a club in need of all those draft points (can't remember why clubs like to accumulate them, maybe for a father son?) that we can trade with to get a decent pick.

Dean Kent looking to get out of Melbourne for more opportunities.

He’s the kind of bloke we should be looking at to replace some of our ordinary depth. Has plenty of pace and strength. Weller looks gone and Minchington will likely be delisted, he’d be an upgrade on those two and Lonie and can also play through the midfield.

Would be cheap as chips also out would think.

He seems to be good for at least a goal or 2 , and sometimes a small bag. Good moneyball option.

I'm sure that if we picked up Kent and he ended up playing like a kent, then some kents on here would go troppo at the kent who recruited Kent [emoji52]

Would rather try & find a way to prise Jayden Hunt free... is he back in their side yet?

He’d be a nice consolation if Gaff is not an option

We are certainly don't have many HB's

I think all those crappy late picks would equal a 40 something pick .
Probably better of using late picks with tradeable players to get a better result .
Eg : Mav Weller + pick 57 for Gold Coast pick 42
