People actually melt over third round draft picks?

People also assume because a player played their junior footy as a defender, that player will also play as a defender at AFL level.

He sounds very versatile to me. People need to relax.

I'll be the odd one out and say I like the selection, not that I knew anything about him before tonight.

Watching his highlights he weights his kicks well, is always looking for the best option and provides run out of defence. So he's a taller version of Caleb, which is what everybody has been saying they want. He can run all day too. What's there not to like?

Also Bevo probably saw that he was rated above average for versatility so he would have been a lock.
Doesn't have the short kick accuracy of Daniel but has a decent longer kick.has speed to burn and a good balance of offence and defense. I prefer him on a wing rather then as a defender.

Versatility is listed as one of his weaknesses.
Well that person is probably wrong. In the two minutes of highlights I saw, he seems like he is good with ball in hand, reads the ball well and has good run and carry.

Funnily enough the two players I wanted us to take at 53 are a good chance to make it to 68. Hilder would wrap up a great draft addressing our 3 biggest needs (assuming Butler is seen as a winger). O'Niel would be good too.

Don't think so. Think we might be done for the list. Got 39 on the SL and 5 on the RL (Young, Gardner, RSmith, Sweet and Khamis). Might have a pick left if Khamis is still regarded as a category B rookie

Khamis must still be cat B. Cool
