You get pole you expect to be given the preference in strategy.
Ferrari didn’t do that.
Just like Seb used to be, just like Max used to be, Charles is treading a well worn path.

It's not just this race. He's shown it throughout the season. There was the race they kept swapping positions to try to catch the Mercs, and he complained about swapping back, despite clearly lapping slower than Vettel, who basically destroyed his tyres behind him.

I really hope for Bottas' sake that being given a higher engine mode to make a run at fastest lap isn't Merc's way of "making it up to him"

if charles wanted it he should've passed him. dont go crying and moaning on the radio. leclerc might've had the better season but vettel is the senior driver and just drove a better race.

Vettel may have been given a helping hand with the undercut, but he did very well in sorting through the traffic. Well deserved win in the end imo

Sochi is a strange track (and a bit of a s**t one) compared to the last few we have been to so it will be another test for Ferrari next week.

Unfortunately I think the title is all but confirmed to be Lewis' this year. This race was the return of Valteri the lap-dog.

Exactly. And LEC cant forget that VET ruined his race in Spa to help LEC secure his first win by keeping the MERCs at bay.

Getting tired of Renault and their pee brained strategy department. Race after race they somehow think Dan can drive on the same tires for 20 laps more then the rest of the field and not lose out.

They destroyed all the hard work he had done by leaving him out so long everyone he overtook undercut him, just once why can't they go the undercut themselves and he probably finishes 7th-8th.

I don't blame him for the Gio move, he needed to get past and gap him to be able to push for points and he knew his only chance was after one of the top 6 went past him, just not enough grip.

This is another race that highlights how BS mandatory stops are. Last night's race should be a scenario where Vettel rolls the dice to pit, but then had to pass the others if they chose not to pit. But mandatory pitstops forces a lead car to become vulnerable. It's buillcrap.
