Did you miss the point? AA Squad is so much better than a goal of the year or a Glendenning medal - which to be fair is as close to a participation award as you can get.

Thats really your point, like, really?

You bringing it up to hang shit on some random Freo fans adds nothing.

Forgive me for not caring!

Tom Green hammers Rowell and Anderson head-to-head …. again

Tom Green hammers Rowell and Anderson head-to-head …. again
Tom Green: 29 disposals (19 contested, 17 effective), 2 marks, 2 behinds, 4 tackles 8 clearances

Matt Rowell: 25 disposals (15 contested, 20 effective), 2 marks, 1 goal, 4 tackles, 8 clearances
Noah Anderson: 32 disposals (11 contested, 20 effective), 6 marks, 2 behinds, 5 tackles, 8 clearances

In what world is that 'hammering' them.

In a world where you watch the game and not the stat sheet

What an amazing year from Anderson and Rowell.

1st and 3rd in the Coaches votes and both in the AA team.

But what about their final!! Only the 3rd pair to have 30+ disposals & 10+ score involvements in a final an across the last 10 years!!

Dragged their team over the line to win the clubs 1st final.

Serong is now a 3 time All Australian from 6 seasons.

But not even in the top 2 of this draft according to Bill!
Maybe watch tonight’s game again.

Also no player from this draft has won the coaches voting award. Anderson has set an extremely high bar for the rest to chase.

You are a notable troll so I feel bad replying but Anderson has long way to go to catch up

Speaking of, Tom Green has fallen further behind again this year, I had him ahead of Anderson a year ago, Hopefully he presses up the next year, needs more conistency

Trolling because I have Anderson at 1?

Maybe the coaches were also trolling when they voted him the best player in the comp in 2026? I’ve said Serong is a gun - I’m tipping I’m not the only poster taking Anderson 1st.

Winning the Coaches Association player of the year is a bigger individual achievement than anyone else in this draft has had but 3x All Australian at 24 is also huge.

To this point of their careers Serong has been a more consistent performer but Anderson has had a higher peak

There's no right or wrong answer.

To be honest, if you're giving me the number 1 pick I'm still taking Rowell.

You troll the whole board in every thread, don't act like you don't

(I don't believe you are as dumb as you make out, surely nobody is)

I’m not trolling taking Anderson at 1. No player in this draft did what he has done this year - add what an amazing leader and captain he has become.

You can’t throw your toys out of the cot when posters don’t agree with you.

Yeah Rowell has the dog in him but Anderson’s hurt factor is so high it’s hard to go past.

Serong has the dog in him as well. Hope the toys stay in the cot.

Yeah, you arent trolling...

They were okay, but Serong was on his own level the other night. Was the sole reason his team was even in a position to win.

Anyway, like Freos season, im done with you, Bill!

Go GCS!

Listening to Newk over the weekend, they were talking to him about being over look not only in the draft by all clubs but also by Gippsland Power where he missed the squad every year until his overage year but that ended up being called off by COVID.

He spoke how he was actually very small back then (can you believe that) and how he was behind some really good players like Serong and Flanders.

It's making me wonder where would we fit him in a redraft now that we know how he ended up developing and how he has taken to the league.

Nic Martin and Sam Durham were both 2019 draft eligible as well

Yeah I know it's pretty amazing how deep this draft pool went.

Id have Martin alongside the likes of Hayden Young and Durham a little further back with Kiddy Colman and Cody Weightman.

But id have Newcombe right up there with Tom Green and Matt Rowell, actually think when both Newk and Rowell are firing they both play similar type of games.

After this finals series it's hard to argue against at least discussing Newk at the pointy end.

I'm super high on Durham as he is just still very clearly on an upward trajectory.

The top 10 by year's end.

My prediction

1. Rowell
My prediction back in May has finally come true 😜

But seriously I go back forth with my predictions from this draft weekly it's elite. Rowell has just added another accolade to the pool.
