Just finished watching the first half. That's easily the best performance by Suns this year. Like watching another team. Tackling pressure excellent.

Thought Nicholls was good in the ruck - helped get his mids into the game. It was very much a stoppage game and Suns kicked lots of goals breaking from tight stoppages and going length of the ground. When Southport tried to do the same they were stopped by Leslie, Burgess and Graham - with Dawson cleaning up.
Gore was good with 4 goals - in fact all the young academy kids applied themselves and kept pressure on throughout.
Were Southport a little overconfident ????
