I think McDonald belongs in that group. He could very well end up the #1 pick.

3 goals a game as an 18 year old in a state league is approaching Hogan territory.

Can’t stop watching the Hollands video that giantroo put up...
It gets better each time.
He would immediately become our most talented player. The kid looks like an all time kind of talent.
Also... you don’t get that good from not working bloody hard, that domination in the video was all as a bottom ager, and he looked bigger stronger and more explosive.
Just pick him and let’s enjoy the next 15 years.

Yeah Hawks are in real trouble and need a huge overhaul.
Doubt they take Phillips are they already have worpel ahh nag d Mitchell in there.
So it’s most likely Hollands or of they go big McDonald or one of the kpd

Everyone will have their different opinion but I’d rather Thilthorpe, seems more athletic and skilful compared to Logan McDonald for a KPP

But i think we have to take a mid first so whichever of Hollands or Phillips is still there plus a bonus that these 2 are vic boys

im just not sure as most supporters r that tilthorpe is pick 1 material. We believe he is more 5 to 10 range and actually would love him to slide to our
gws pick 10. Pick 1 needs be that player win game of his own boot and that X factor is Holland’s all over so pick 1 we as a whole want Holland’s and if we do get pick to we r really wanting McDonald over tilthorpe and hoping get him as a slider. So do you take tilthorpe or McDonald at prsent

I'd be surprised if we don't take a midfielder (Phillips) with the next pick, but there's no way Tilthorpe is hanging around until Adelaide's next pick, so if you don't take him, you miss him. WE have McKay, Larkey & the promising Comben as KPP's and Cox is also in the mix for our other 1st round pick as a KPD.

Forget all this rubbish about pick 2 for Crouch also, it's absurd.

Let's be honest, they need 2-3 drafts yet, so they don't have to pull the trigger that quicklyt, but you need to start with the KPP's first in a root & branch midfield, as they take a little longer to develop.

IMO, their perfect pair this year is Tilthorpe & Cox as future bookends, and then they can look at Edwards at pick 20 with a bit of luck. If they offload B. Crouch they may get another pick around that mark and pick up a spec midfielder, then probably a flanker at 28. Come back next year for the red hot Adelaide midfielder kid.

I look at it this way, could a club that is just starting out on a large rebuild afford to take a kid with an ACL at pick 1? It's risky for them considering where they sit.

Adelaide fans are speculating on who they're going to pick with picks 1 and 2 overall that they'll have come draft night.

Ignoring the fact that Crouch has voiced his desire to stay at the Crows, I'm not sure they're getting the 2nd overall pick for him anyway.
