Yeah, its a very strange situation. Given he has battled anxiety, and he struggled to be apart from his child for a month in the WA hub... I fail to see him coping for 10 months and just flying in between states next year...
He may think he can cope, but.. we'll see.

He is staying for now. But I wouldn't be shocked if he does go for a move. Unless Kim only plans on 1 year at the Firebirds

Apparently being there with his partner/family is very important for him to perform on matchday, which obviously is fair enough. I reckon Treloar's speed and outside run will complement your midfield quite nicely.

He might only have 3-4 years in him, but I'd do that trade every day.

Think someone of Treloars ilk would allow Rowell, Anderson, Davies etc.. to flourish. They're in the 4th-5th year when he goes.

The only thing, if his partner gets a gig elsewhere, does he demand a trade again? and they he's 29 and we can't get jack shit for him after 1-2 years service. Not ideal scenario

She prob wants to try get picked for the Diamonds again, and the magpies netball team just isn't performing that well. I assume the Firebirds are more.. high profile. She's not even from Melb. from NSW but the firebirds she played with from 2013-2016. Then Magpies in 2017-2019. So its not like she is unfamilar with QLD.

AFTER SATURDAY NIGHT NOT SURE I WOULD TRADE PICK 5 FOR THE ENTIRE COLLINGWOOD SIDE THEY WERE INSIPID.

On a serious note a very good player with dodgy hamstrings and ordinary disposal , not sure plenty of risks involved.

If Kim decides to stay longer than her 10 month contract. I can see him moving. He would want to be where she and his daughter is.

But I guess we cross that bridge if it comes to it.

Can't disagree that. Only player that stood up was Adams. But that was their worst performance I have seen. But that's not who they are.. I wouldn't judge them from that game. We have had 3 horrible performances this season. That, dees game and eagles half way through the season.

It media reports a true, De Goey is going full mercenary. Asking $1 mil a season. I know these guys are trying to set themselves up for life, but gee wiz. The kids got tickets on himself.

360 guys mentioned that, but was based on nothing other than their opinion of his personality. She's only up here for 10 months - that's manageable with the club. Can spend a week every now and then up in Queensland for rest weeks. It's tough but can be done.

I've never rated Treloar as much as some. Always thought he struggled to hit targets (but maybe that means he's best suited to us!). Bad hamstring issues over the past couple of years too. Would still take him, but not sure I'd give up #5 for a guy that probably doesn't actually want to be at the club.
