2020 Draft and Trades Thread

I'd like to think the fact we gave away 27 for peanuts means we have a steadfast plan in the draft

Think we are only using 5. That's it with the others coming from outside the draft.

Draft days are normally our best days of the year. This will have been the quietest we have ever been!

The local in me is happy to see Fyfe got picked. Local boy from the Helensvale High/Broady Cats pathway. He even kicked the winning goal after the siren to win the QLD senior schools championships for the 'Vale last year so we know he can perform in high pressure situations. Bonus that he grew up supporting the Suns and has lived his whole life on the GC (according to the article on our website).

Like all our academy boys, I really hope Fyfe can make it to the AFL level!

Rowell Anderson Phillips Gold Coast/Oakleigh midfield is gonna look good on paper but not sure if he’ll be able to push Miller Or Greenwood out next year.

Don't think they should have prelisted both Nicholls and Fyfe as they play a similar position and think they should have at least taken 3 picks into the drafts as you never know who will fall down that low. There are major holes in your list in the key positions that haven't been addressed as well, if King , Day, Witts and Smith all went down at the same time suddenly you have Conroy and Murtagh as your lead ruck and forward
