I also took Whitfield out last week and it does give a lot more $ to play with. For my sins, I'm also warming greatly to Petracca.

But the forward rookies look putrid, and as history suggests, they'll be the weakest scorers. 6 midfield premos means you'll have a lot of DEF and FWD rookies on field. Rowell at M6, Pickett at M7 and somebody else at M8 makes a lot more sense to me.

A. Bonar, S. Hill, M. Bergman (if fit), J. Brander, M. Georgiades, M. King, I. Rankine, S. Sturt and C. Budarick are all looking likely to play round 1 at this stage. Not amazing but I wouldn't call them putrid, especially when compared to the DEF rookies on offer at this stage.
