I see ccj getting this.
900k, 600k, 150k and 150k.
for a 4 year 450k average.
North have young blokes that will want pay rises in a couple of years.

That's where you can get caught out paying almost 100% salary cap and have no stars on the list and still a bottom 4 team.

Well the minimum is 95% so everyone pays close to 100%
Its really not a surprise we have more cap room than a dynasty club, we finished last lol.
for the record. CCJ would be Norths 5th win of the year.

I thought the same about his ruck work tbh.
With no VFL over the last few years Im not sure hes played enough to actually improve.
Richmond have such quality talls hes been stuck in the seconds and most of the games have been cancelled.
+ the tigers having to pay out Premiership bonus's last year in a covid year has left them skint.
North have got very lucky here IMO.

Yeah the no VFL is a big killer for a lot of fringe players, the whole Kebab thing didn't help his cause, could of snuck himself a shot at a flag last year, and definitely would of debuted early. Makes him leaving feel a bit scummy, but completely understandable why he would go.

But if he seriously does wanna play ruck I don't see him getting a gig ahead of Nank or Soldo when all are healthy, so best for him to have a crack somewhere else.

Can’t see why he’d want to play ruck. I thought he looked good up forward but didn’t show much in the ruck.

he's slow as shit and once the tap was done he was useless

The plan is goldy plays for another year or 2.
He learns from goldy while swapping forward.
North need another big forward to help out larkey and zurhaar.
If i was a young ruck i would much prefer to learn from goldy tbh.

Goldy is quality up forward too so he'll get plenty of time in the ruck

Well last year he was ok.
Not really before that.
The reason he has the highest hit outs all time is hes always played pretty much 100% ruck. or close to.
Crazy stamina for a big man.
He is the opposite of NicNat

So what about Comben & Xerri?

Yeah definitely reckon Larkey, CCJ and Zurhaar could be a quality combination. Just don’t see what he’s shown to suggest he could be a full time ruck.

Not sure on how much money but he was offered 4 years as wel.
4x $400k is the rumour. Over's but he fills a need.

CCJ turned down 5 years at similar money from the suns apparently. Assume it was one or the other with CCJ preferred.

Bit strange he turned it down if he wants to play ruck. The suns won't have a fit ruck round one (other than Chol now). Maybe the money wasn't as high as reported, or he just wanted to stay in Melbourne.

Do you think you will go with the Ziebell/Hall combo again? Ziebell seemed a bit superfluous toward the end of the year. With Tarrant and Corr there is enough experience. Is it just a case of he has to play somewhere?

Could you guys draft a hbf?
Came out Ziebell had been carrying an injury in the back half of the year .....do we dare visit the wishing well again ...we couldn't be so lucky

Yes I think CCJ is eyeing R1 in a couple of years at North. He probably wouldn't get that at the Suns for a longer period of time.

We got very lucky with Ziebell. No I'm interested in Hall even at the high start price, if he gets to seagull around again without a care in the world he might be worth it.

Hall is locked in for me, should be underpriced

The gap between hall and the next best hbf on norths list is drastic.
I doubt his role changes its one of the things we got right this year.
P Walker or Perez are the next most likely for a spot IMO.
Atley should be delisted this year TBH.
