I think Cripps kicks the goal and I think he's way better than a 50/50. He wouldve kicked from 20m slight angle. 20.9 for the year but with more difficult shots.

It's a funny game today, we played really poor football that first half, an awesome 3rd quarter and for the most part not a bad last qtr, just couldn't kill the game when we had our many chances. They took their chances and we didn't that last qtr.
A lot to learn from. Probably more disappointing overall in the first half more than anything. Panic panic panic (but credit to us, we turned it around in the 3rd and then ultimately failed the test late)

l believe there has been a trend for a large amount of the season, were we have teams beaten and lapse, we were have hoped the pain of losing to Melbourne last week would have provided a strong lesson to this group.Walsh looked so devastated in the box after the siren. Charlie let out an F bomb. Doc looked broken.
Our players looked so broken tonight after the siren. I’d love to have been a fly on the wall in the rooms.
This hurts us and them. I think it’s what the boys need. They will use this as fuel for next year. We will be ok

This group needs a tougher resolve to take the next step, very disappointing 2nd half of the season , the loss to Adelaide was inexcusable.

We all had a baseline, (I said 6th-10th which in the end was spot on), but we can also adjust our expectations during the season. Missing the 8 from where we were was a big fail, to me it's the Adelaide game. And it's not the result so much bit the effort in that game, they failed in their effort/attitude that game.
In the end, you'd hope the result today hurts as much as a finals loss may, but finals experience would have been great. As much as today was a 'final', the fact is it wasn't a final.

No one is denying the obsession and passion for our team. It’s more about perspective.
In real terms, none of our lives are actually better or worse when our team wins or loses.
I feel your pain, believe me. But in the big scheme of things it is just a game. The sun will come up tomorrow, and in a year from now, we won’t care what happened today.

Wish we got it done over the Bulldogs for you guys today. Your boys played some of the most exciting footy I've watched all year, and today was an absolute heart breaker. Vossy has you on the right track though, please go one better next year. My condolences.

Not contradicting myself at all, if we kicked just 1 of the 6 goals we missed in the last, we win..likewise if we kicked just 1 goal in the first. This way we win, regardless of what the umps did.
IMO, the umpiring was pretty average both ways today. Both teams got some lucky frees as well as some pretty obvious frees not getting paid.

You can't base previous rebuilds with the current group in my opinion.
Regardless, what other option do supporters have but to wait. Whilst the club will be empathising how we all feel, we really have no influence as to how they approach this next phase..

There's going out in straight sets in finals. But that's just your run of the mill warm up tournament best of 3 sets. We just went out in straights in a grand slam, loss after loss, after loss to finish it off.
We failed in our goal to play finals in the most brutal way possible, after being in the eight all year.
It sucks, and sucks really hard.
But we are much better side and on an upward trajectory.
I just hope this feeling is seared into the players so they work and think ****ing hard next year.
