Was training this morning and then later did some rehab work with Billings on the boundary. No sign of any strapping and was running, so hard to say if he is injured or not.

Yeah I was just taking it from him not playing in the VFL practice match. I thought someone previously said concussion so I guess not any visible injury.

Able to be viewed on AFL//VFL website apparently at 1pm
Obviously no Joyce but seems like Highmore may not be making the trip west given Sharman & Campbell are not named at all

Scrap that Highmore not playing either

Will be interesting to see how they use Paddy/Heath. Heath has been pushed out of the ruck by Campbell recently but I doubt they’ll want Paddy having that many minutes.

Yeah agree. Dare say he will be on managed minutes.
Hoping Windy finds himself through the middle a little bit more this week and Owens finds some confidence.

I was under the impression that Windy was out for a while with a back issue when he was drafted? Good to see him playing and getting some VFL exposure.
Was eased into it after draft but dont think he has missed a beat at training since new year but could be wrong.

Surely we’d be wanting to put more time in the ruck into Heath ahead of Campbell.
Campbell is there to help develop Heath not take his place.

I just was recalling from the recent vfl report Campbell took most of it and Heath played forward
Yeah get what you are saying but this is where I have a problem with our development. Campbell is essentially a break in case of emergency ruck back up that can assist with junior ruck development. Start getting Heath ready for next year.

If he is good enough to assist with "junior ruck development" then he is good enough to get a game in the 1's I would have thought. If he is teaching someone then generally he would be better than the person he is teaching.

Is Dunstan playing for Casey?

EDIT yep

Matty Allison: "played on the wing"

Oh thank fu** I thought we were going to run out of tall wingers who can't really play the position
Based on his day so far on Mitch Brown I think the wing is a far better option.
Getting toweled up at FB/CHB

The unevenness of this competition is ridiculous. We play an interstate game in WA and have to bring over all our emergencies, Melbourne played yesterday so probably have everyone available.

Why not have us play them the same week we do in the AFL comp? Just makes no sense to me.
