The update was they are sending him for more scans and then there will be an update.

Johnson is the one I am worried about. He has been injured too long to still be TBA imo.
Bell mentioned him or at least one foot called Matthew and the other injured foot called Jonno. They will have an update when he gets out of the moonboot and starts light running.

Yeah not sure it would be quite that predictable at AFL level. If the ball was to come into attacking 50 one side of the ground, and the directive was to always take it out the other side of the ground ( because there is more space) other teams would set up for that pretty quick.
FYI, that’s not my opinion, that’s what happens. It’s a lot easier to set up the side from which the ball came in from defensively as the players are already there than the open space on the other side & that’s why we lament slow ball movement out of the back half.
If teams can stop the switch, it means a kick down the line, which every fan hates no matter who you support because it is easier for clubs to defend & set up behind the ball.

BHilly nearly always swapped wings to ensure he was on the open (fat side), his skills were best on the open side.

As for trying to stop it…. Have you watch games in the last 2 years…. Yes they try and stop it.

SHilly however when he played on the wing was skinny side winger…

Except when he comes off the bench, grabs the ball sprints 100m and slots the winning goal against Galong… just saying!

That is correct - it is still a little concerning they don't have a timeframe. Having a moon boot doesn't stop a surgeon from providing a timeline unless they are concerned with a complication.

I hope I am concerned for no good reason.

Good. I hate the idiotic Fyfe forward rhetoric from eastern states journos that don't know fu** all about us.
Any thoughts on all of that goal kicking practice he seemed to be doing? I'm imagining a little goal kicking feast from Fyfe, Clark and Chapman.

Whether he plays forward or not, he needs the practice.
