A bit confused here. If we were missing those 3, which players made up the 22 + Sturt?

I can see Serong, Clark, Walters, Lobb, Walker, Noddy, Sturt, Acres, Cox, Brayshaw, Aish, Banfield, Taberner, Mundy, Colyer, Schultz, Tucker, Logue, Switta and Darcy in the photo

There's one more player hiding behind Banfield who has those sleak Brodie calves.

Still, as posters we got to trial our covid-panic procedure.
Yeah, I have learnt I am not equipped to dealing with losing half our team due to Covid for an important match...

I know chappy and young live with Henry so that makes sense. Not sure about freddy or ryan

Everyone is happier now that Henry plays such an outside game now.

Sturt is training with the main group because he flew with the main group (Same for Logue, Erasmus and Tucker)

They have kept the WAFL group from last week separate, don't read into who is going to play through that

If our WAFL players test negative then they will be able to join the main team to play on Saturday

God between this and hoping no guests get covid between now and Friday for my wedding I am officially STRESSED
Really hope your wedding goes off without a hitch, try not to get too stressed; it's a special day and (hopefully) a one off. Tell everyone to wear purple :laughv1:

Logue, Wilson, Sturt & hughs.
We actually have some knee high depth 🙂
Yeah it would hurt the back half rebound, but that team should be able to do the job if it had to happen.
We'd be looking at Clark, Walker and Wilson for the rebound which certainly is not the worst we've had to work with.

****, this would be so a carlton game for us to lose half our side now..
They are a scourge & some old blues hag has hexed us...😭
Hopefully they'll be alright - we don't know for certain yet, had to do tests in our home because of a positive test and came up negative so fingers crossed for them. As stupid as it sounds, it's probably best if it's earlier in the season anyway, imagine if it was in a finals series (assuming we had got that far..). At some point our 'depth' will be tested you've got to imagine

We have at least ten available fit players outside the weekend's 22 I am going to trust if they need to come in - Schultz, Treacy, Sturt, Erasmus, Tucker, Crowden, Logue, Wilson, Hughes, Hamling, Henry (and Meek in a specialist role) can all play if needed. We lose two, three to COVID especially in our backline where we are stacked for replacements, we'll cope just fine

Depth actually isn’t too bad. Three with AFL experience. Sturt will be underdone. But it’s not the end of the world.
Hughes will show his worth. Wilson I’m sure has what it takes.

We need to be at our best to win so my confidence is a little lower should we need to draw on that depth.

At least it’s mostly backline. Any of 2 or 3 forwards, we’re in trouble.
Nah, we’re used to playing with no forward line.

Ryan we can replace with Logue and not lose too much, Freddy would hurt, but if it's Sturt instead, we can make that work. Replacing Chapman and Young with Nathan "bomb it long without thought" Wilson and Ethan "stopper of ball movement" Hughes will be disastrous
In that scenario I wouldn't be surprised to see Aish or Tucker play at half back instead of Hughes.
