All I know is Nick was at training yesterday, Josh wasn't. That hopefully means he's all good. I doubt he would train if he's sick. Footy department don't care about functions. Also the Daicos name generates clicks. Media lapping it up.

I would think so. He did sling him although he was already on the ground. Perfect tackle in the old days but who knows now.

Neither Sicily's tackle or Butler's tackle should be a suspension, just because the players they tackled got injured doesn't make them dangerous tackles.
If Blakey or McCluggage didn't get injured neither of these tackles would have even been looked at, you see tackles like theirs multiple times in a game.

tackles are like bumps now apparently. you have a duty of care to the other player and if you fail that you get suspended regardless of the action or intent.
this probably isn’t the rule but it seems that way to a casual footy watcher like me.

Forget the player coming over the top ....Sicily twisted Luggage aggressively, and made no attempt at softening the tackle
Make no mistake .....I sit on the side of tackle to hurt, old fashioned footy ....but based on the current interpretation, Sicily misses at least a week, maybe 2
