Well Paddy Cripps definitely feels he is playing Friday night, in fact with a chip on his should so big Jake Lloyd is coming to salivate from the stands on his bye week, I reckon he could go huge! FxVDGywakAA-1E7.jpeg

Not shattered Oliver is missing an extra week. Great that they are challenging Laird. To be it looked like one motion and he controlled him down. With the deflection of Pedlar I think and the way Neale flopped with head to draw free I think they have a case.

Sean Darcy news looks ok too. Should only miss round 13 which I have plenty of cover for.
What makes you think two weeks rest is enough for the big man with a hammy?

Apart from this - of course :p

Patiently waiting for the Hawks injury report, to confirm that Seamus Mitchell is alright. That ankle/knee tweak that kept him out of the last 15 mins last weekend looked nasty.

Pittonet apparently may have broken his hand, wonderful, I was planning on trading him next week anyway (traded him in for Grundy R7 for a 92 average and $90k profit whilst both Darcy and English have dropped so no complaints with his work). Could have done with his 80-90pts on field this week though.
Trade to Bobby Briggs. Simple.

I genuinely think Laird will get off
It would be monumental if he does. The narrative would need to change. "The player being tackled not doing enough to protect himself". Lots in the media have said this, but it hasn't helped. Maybe things will change?

I doubt it...

For anyone wanting to get rid of Darcy, Pittonet, or another spud ruck, Briggs is a no brainer this week. I've actually considered trading Gawn to him as they are both scoring the same at the moment and it would net me more than $250k. Don't know if I've got the intestinal fortitude to actually do it, but considering it.
Already done it, only 6th trade for R2 at least, plus 1 to cover R1 for a few weeks when Witts was injured, Plus Ryan for long term cover, but who needs that, dumped him as well this week.

He better, I read that a coupla hours ago, and immediately logged on and put the VC on him.

I didn’t realise people were questioning Cripps’ commitment but criticism of his and the teams form seems well justified.
There’s no way I’m giving him the VC but if this provides the motivation for him to go 90+ I’ll be happy.

…actually I’m just relieved that he’s playing.

Still unsure how the big man did a hammy.
He was sprinting into the tuck shop and was winning the foot race against Stewy Dew and Will Gould and he just felt it go ping.

Thankfully another person dropped a box of meat pies next to him so he had something to snack on until the crane truck arrived.

Stewy and Will are still running.

No mention of him in their injury report.

Edit: Apparently "mercurial" and "spud" mean the same thing.
I was going to post the same thing B4 I saw your foot-note ......been a long-time since you could use mercurial to describe Wingard ....that's one very disappointing career, given his talent level
