Clayton Oliver potential to miss due to flu (PLEASE MISS)
Clayton Oliver potential to miss due to flu (PLEASE MISS)
He'll play. Bloke is tough as nails and wont miss with a flu. Him and trac always suit up. Its remarkable they never miss. Thought trac was an issue after an early acl but has barely missed a game since. Pretty remarkable for a bloke his size. He weighs 98kg!!Of course I've moved heaven and earth to bring him in

Not having a go, but when is trading someone in @ $700k ever a good idea?Of course I've moved heaven and earth to bring him in

Thats ridiculous at that age isnt it. The main reason blokes get drafted is because they mature early and have decent size about them by yr 11 or 12 of high school. Pretty stiff for the late developers.Played against Trac throughout juniors, was apparently 100kg in under 16's and he was still super explosive and agile - unbelievable genetics.
At least you can change your trades then, BE 168 and he's not getting that if he's crook. This week, Dee's upcoming fixture says he ain't getting any cheaper
A fit Oliver is having 40+ v the hapless tigers
Seriously Taranto is bringing his autograph book
Slightly different when flipping an injured player. But's it's so hard to maintain that price.Made enough sense last week with the Docherty injury and Melbourne having Essendon, Richmond, North, Gold Coast and Hawthorn in succession.
Definitely, it's just not quite as black and white with someone like Oliver who's a captaincy lock each week. With that sort of fixture, you could feasibly see him average 140-150 over a five-week period. Being a non-owner for that sort of run could be disastrous when the majority of the comp are getting those scores, plus the captaincy bonus.Slightly different when flipping an injured player. IMO it's better for you if he misses. A sub 100 score and his price will crash and everyone gets him for $630k in 3 weeks. So you lose him as a POD and spent more than others.Definitely, it's just not quite as black and white with someone like Oliver who's a captaincy lock each week. If he misses this week, then it's definitely backfired on me, but it was a worthwhile risk IMO.
he plays more behind the ball and will get more chips with superman back...chipdeliciousSinclair ave has dropped a bit lately. Hes been away from his normal role and playing as a mid. Steele back in....does sinclair fire up again?
