Nothing. If he is found not guilty we can reassess.

But on current info if I wouldn’t let the guy be friends with my sister or daughter, I don’t want him influencing the football group or being a role model for fans.

I've got an 8yo daughter.

But this guy has been drawn and quartered on sfa.

I work in the legal 'system', plenty, like plenty++ of false claims are made....for a host of crazy reasons.

Of course, you wouldn't consider him till there is resolution, but most here have hung him already.

Given our weakness on the outside of stoppages should we be looking at Taryn Thomas.. The Carlton Respects thing prob prevents it but as a risk v reward outcomes its worth thought.

I think a lot of things beyond Carlton respects make that a poor idea.

How about you go to Richmond with TDK, Dow plus a few draft picks for someone like Bolton and ask the question. They are entering a rebuild, would Bolton want to stick along for that? Perfect type of player we need.

TDK can fill in the Jack Riewoldt spot when he retires and pinch hit ruck. Dow replaces Cotchin and plays with his bro. Plus whatever draft picks, hell even chuck LOB in

You can ask the question but, just think if you were Richmond and someone said “hey here are 3 guys who can’t make Carlton’s best side injury free, now give us Bolton” what would you say?

I think he would have suiters, for sure. We wouldn't be one though, likely because of Carlton Respects.


For Carlton it would likely be Carlton Respects. Other clubs may not take him on due to moral issues even without an attached social movement, which is good, but not every club - as North have shown by keeping him around.


Fwiw I'm not arguing we should go after him, I was hoping he'd be banned and cut for what he did. I'm just suggesting that IAAM's idea that Carlton Respects would stop us from going after him isn't unfair.

Yes we should go from Carlton respects to, we are Carlton **** the rest. Among other changes I propose:

• Mark Latham number one ticket holder
• Alan Jones team motivator (like before 87 GF, it worked then; it can work now)
• News limited sponsorship, includes puff pieces with Paul Murray weekly
• Take a stand against woke culture gone mad, make our indigenous round game where we take a stand against the voice
• organise a men’s rights awareness game in place of the Carlton respects game

With those changes we can rid the club of this woke mind virus that has taken hold of the club after the salary cap scandal. This will return us to winning ways.

Seemed to be a great coach for us in the making, looked like he had the players all buying in to his system, a little disappointing we lost him and he had to leave but family and life balance come first

His application in chasing after/down opponents within a reasonable distance is his biggest deficiency, it seems it’s purely a fundamental he doesn’t seem to be wanting to do, it’s not like he lacks the speed to actually do it…

That’s still the biggest fault in his overall game, but he has improved his endurance to a much more respectable level and been just about our best listed player across last season along with this season as well in the reserves, everyone shares a different view but he has been unlucky not to be given some more games last year and this year imo…

If i was to pick one more thing I’d like to see him use his pace in being more involved in adding more outside run & creating more team chains..

it’s not like he lacks the speed to actually do it…

I'm not convinced he does have it. He definitely does over 5-10metres but beyond that I'm not convinced his speed is top end. Certainly has the initial burst, though, which is a valuable asset in of itself and would be especially in our midfield.

As for chase down pressure though I don't think he actually does have the ability once the ball leaves the contest.

I had dinner with the MC this week. Here's what I could glean about a couple of players.

Dow
They told me they're happy with Dow's progress, but he still has some deficiencies they're looking to address. Once he achieves all 3 he's a lock to be in the team.

1) Their main concern at the moment is his height. They said if he can learn from McKay and get to at least 200cm he'll go a long way to making the team.

2) Even if he can hit the 2m mark, Voss is adamant on Dow becoming well rounded. Not just as a player, but as a human. Dow's about half way through his Business degree at the moment and has been told if he can land a CFO role at an ASX50 company he'll tick this box.

3) The third one wasn't revealed to me. Said they'd make it up when he hits the other two goals.

...Oh yeah and Honey is a big chance to come in next week but he has objectives to meet too - no one is gifted games.

He needs to eat at least 2 orange slices after the game...one slice to celebrate each disposal he gets.

His locker consists of a cardboard box (placed in the hallway) which has been packed for a while now. Laughable that Fog is named when he can’t kick a ball further than 40m.

Ive heard he has to climb the gates at the legends stand end just to get in and out of the ground on matchday and training as his pass has been revoked by Voss.

Austin has shown that he likes to deal fairly and move on...
Highly doubt he will be holding out for some ridiculous offer, some on here are going to be bitterly disappointed...
