Bluddy hell - ANOTHER SOFT TISSUE INJURY.
Sack the damn fitness and conditioning team.
If there was a player we couldn't lose, it was Taylor.
A tear, 4 to 6 weeks Alastair Lynch just said.

"Bad tear" according to FoxFooty. Is it a hamstring?
thought he was pretty good today. Why do you rate Angwin?
From what I’ve seen he’s not agile, he’s not strong and he doesn’t seem to have any real weapons other than endurance? I hope I’m wrong but he seems a very vanilla player?
He wasn’t too bad actually, the part of his game I thought stood out was his hands in close, a couple of times when he was under the pump he got it out well. I’m still not convinced he’s best 22 but he did ok today.thought he was pretty good today.
Runs well, kicks well.
Thoughts on him after todays game? Why do you rate Angwin?

I almost feel with him it’s the culmination of a few things.Yeah, lots of positives. . Just hope we can figure out what Whitfield needs to get his head right.
He still just isn't playing particularly confidently, or feel like he knows which option he wants to take, so turning it over way more than a player of his experience (and previous class) should.
Yeah - I think you've got this one pretty well pinned.I almost feel with him it’s a bit of a culmination of a few things.
He has had some bad injuries, combination of contact injuries due to his courage and other injuries that have put wear and tear on his body. He’s lost a yard of pace and given he is not particularly strong it makes him vulnerable.
He has lost all confidence with his kicking. He has gone from the best kick in the club to nearly the worst. He can fix this but he has to fix his head first, like Cogs did.
Also, we fell off the cliff and the realisation we were no longer a finals team has damaged his motivation.
There is a chance he’s cooked but I think he can bounce. The long contract was the worst thing for him, it’s had a bad effect on his form/motivation.
Also, notice how many times the Lions play for frees? They look for short cuts all the time.Keeffe most likely to come in for Taylor.
Brisbane the biggest front running team you will see. No chance of winning the flag.
Some of the non calls from the umpires was astounding.
Aleer played VFL today but didn’t get much of the ball so hopefully it’s not injury related. Otherwise he should be the one that comes in. He was going to be the starting fullback (ahead of Buckley) in round 1 until he was a late out.I think our forward line is more a of problem than is mentioned. Since Daniels has come back it has better balance but the talls aren't quite working out. Cadman is developing so stay with him, Himmelberg does cameos as he is used all over the ground, but Hogan seems to be missing too often for the experienced hand he is. He takes contested marks but not always in the forward arc and kicks a few goals; but not when it's really needed. If you want contested marks in the forward 50 and clutch goals our go to tall is Toby. If we are going to be a 'middle-level team with upside', then we will presumably put some emphasis on playing youth. I would like to see Derksen come in for Taylor so that Himmelberg can go down back. O'Keeffe was ordinary against Coburg last week in the VFL and 'managed' this week. Aleer is just coming back from injury. Derksen has been in good form but didn't get amongst the goals today as he played as main ruck (sans Briggs), but still showed his mobility. Also having him and Harry means they can share the cut-out ruck duties. Riccardi did kick 4 goals in the VFL today but we have seen this before; he just doesn't seem to make the consistent step-up when in the seniors.
We could bring in Briggs or Derksen if sending Harry back is the best call. Swans are getting thrashed as we speak, it might depend on how tall they are next week.Aleer played VFL today but didn’t get much of the ball so hopefully it’s not injury related. Leave HH forward and bring in Bedford so that we have more pace in the forward half to lock it in.
Sydney's backline is comparatively short due to Rampe and the McCartins being out.Swans are getting thrashed as we speak, it might depend on how tall they are next week.
HH played all pre season as a forward and is playing alright there and chopping out in the ruck really well which he could t do down back.We could bring in Briggs or Derksen if sending Harry back is the best call. I agree Bedford is a good in provided he played well today.
We get Tom Green back as well so that helps.
We just have to match todays efforts and i think we probably beat Sydney.
Hard to 'lock it in' when the opposition mark almost every ball we kick in to our forward lineAleer played VFL today but didn’t get much of the ball so hopefully it’s not injury related. Highly doubt Davis will be ready to resume next week. He will be out for a while I would assume.HH played all pre season as a forward and is playing alright there and chopping out in the ruck really well which he could t do down back.
We have Keefe, Aleer, fleeton and Davis due back next week who are all key backs. We need to give the forwards a chance to adjust to the new game plan and we don’t need HH down back now that Haynes is back playing well.
