2024 Carlton Goal-kicking knock-out comp - take 2, starting round 11



Rules:

• You nominate one player each week to kick a goal
• If your player kicks at least one goal that week, you stay in the comp
• If your player doesn't kick a goal, you're out (unless you have an immunity - see below)
• You can only choose each player once over the season
• You have the start of each game to provide your tip. You can amend your tip any time up to the start of each game. All entries will be recorded to ensure everyone is playing by the rules.
• If your player kicks Carlton's first goal of the match, you earn an immunity card. This automatically protects you from your next wrong pick.
  • You can earn multiple immunity cards over the season (and can theoretically accumulate more than one).
  • Exception: see rule below regarding default selections (ineligible for immunities)
• If you don't enter a selection you get the player with the lowest jumper number that you haven't selected previously (in the selected 23)
  • (new) Exception: Round 11 default choice will be Charlie, Round 12 will be Harry (if selected). Reason - gives latecomers a chance.
  • (new) No immunity will be earned if the contestant fails to make a selection (and the default entry kicks the first goal).
• If you wish to change your entry (e.g. for a late out), do NOT edit your original post - make a new post with your changed selection (so that I can see the post timestamp).
• "Rando" is an automated player who will always take the default choice. Don't let him win!

Here we go again. Take note of the modification I've unilaterally made to the default selection rule. Figure there might be a few people that would like to play but may be away, or otherwise miss this thread before the game this week. Making Charlie and Harry the first two defaults gives them some chance (hope that doesn't put the mozz on Charlie's streak...) Also helps Rando out

Note also the "Blues Goals" tab I've added - keeps a running tally of all goal-scorers just in case you're lacking inspiration.
