Resource 2024 Provisional AFL Draft Order (updated throughout trade period)

NORTH Melbourne has been granted three draft selections as part of its assistance package from the League, which was approved by the AFL Commission on Monday.​

​

The Roos' application for assistance came after another season in the bottom two on the ladder, with the club winning 12 of its past 84 games.​

​

The AFL has given the Kangaroos three first-round picks over two years to help build their draft hand.​

​

This year's pick will come at the end of the first round, while next year's two picks will also be placed at the end of the first round. The 2024 picks are subject to review next year. ​

These are END OF first round picks, so currently pick 19 & 20 for 2024 (indicated in black) (2023 in the 2023 thread)



The draft order for this thread is based on the end of round 24 ladder (finals are included for 2023 but pointless for this one until we get to the 2024 finals).

I am assuming this F3 is St Kilda's own, because neither club has specified differently. However St Kilda also have F3s belonging to Melbourne and Carlton at this stage of play.

Adelaide gets picks 8 and 17. GWS gets picks 11, 15 and a future second.

Neither club specifies which second round pick has been traded. Adelaide currently have Melbourne's 2024 R2 pick as well as their own. Pending further evidence, I will assume that Adelaide have traded their own pick.

GWS states that the F2 they gave to St Kilda is tied to Adelaide's 2024 finishing position.

Neither club specifies which second round pick has been traded. Adelaide currently have Melbourne's 2024 R2 pick as well as their own. Pending further evidence, I will assume that Adelaide have traded their own pick.

That also basically confirms that Adelaide traded their own pick to GWS.
