Is Coffield to Pink or Hore worth it (if so which one)?

I currently have no bench in defense but not sure if either one of these is worth the trade. Or do I wait a week and see?
For me - no

3 of the next 4 rounds are best 18 only, so someone with low scoring potential like Pink may not score enough for you as it is, he’d mostly be injury protection.

Furthermore after 6 rounds, we get DPP changes and McKercher, Roberts and Sexton may all end up defenders if you have them.

There’s better use of your trades at this stage of the year.

Most likely will be this, can see a +100k cash gen around Daicos and Wang trade.

Ranked 300 but gotta risk it for the biscuit. Possible wet conditions or drying may hamper Daicos, Finn to tag the following week and then bye. Hopefully grab him 50k cheaper.

Trades in the bank are far more valuable than this proposition in dumping Naicos. He will be stung by the criticism of him this week and I fully expect him to pump out 120+ against Brisbane.

Hawks are going nowhere if they have to resort to Finn tagging players as evidenced by the game against Melbourne on the weekend.

Have 40 trades. Can't go with the masses all the time.

yeah he can come out and smack a 120+ but he could also go ya 100.

Finn should be dropped for Hustwaite. Finn offers buggar all else bar tagging. He doesn't hurt you on offence. Think I'd prefer to lose whilst developing a young kid that can football like Hustwaite rather than continue with Finn in a tagging role.

Not sure I'd be using Finn to tag Daicos as a reason to trade Daicos out personally. The cash gen may still work out if he has another couple of quiet ones though, so go with your gut.

I realise that Sam Mitchell isn't the brightest spark, but surely the fact that the tag has been so successful the past two times means he has to do it again.

If he doesn't and Nick stars, he's gonna look like an absolute sausage

The weirdest/worst part of the crazy plan for me is gonna be deathriding my favourite player for two weeks.

The silver lining is that if he goes large, he probably helps the Pies win. So it oughta be win/win (inb4 Nicky scores 200 and Pies still lose lol)

He already is a sausage

I guess the counter argument is Hawthorn are getting beaten around the ball. Having Fin in there doing absolutely nothing but tagging isn't going to help with that. All so Daicos can get 25 possessions instead of 35.

Sydney and GWS have already proven that you can beat the Pies even with Daicos playing well.

Maybe he does, but I'd rather he didn't play personally. We looked bad enough last week with Finn tagging.

We have lost centre clearances 32-14 the first two weeks. Finn doesn't start in the centre (zero CBA's last week). He starts on a wing or HFF then goes to his tagging opponent. Nick has attended 57-79% of CBA's so he could get decent numbers in there before Finn even picks him up.

I'm just saying, keep an eye on teams before making a call based on Finn tagging Nick next week.

Quick question because I'm an idiot, if I brought Hogan in last week did I just get any price increase from the weekend's game or is that not until after his next one? Like if I corrected him to McKay is that a complete waste?

Maginess has held Nick to 17 and 5 possessions the past two times they played.

Nick was injured in that last game but it was in the 4th quarter, and he had 5 possessions.

Finn is the only guy who has been able to limit Nick, and plenty of other coaches have tried.

Imagine being up against Superman and you have a lump of kryptonite and you don't use it.

Surely Mitchell isn't that dumb.

If he is, Nicky will be more than a little relieved and a tad bewildered, I would reckon

You've got one price rise out of him. Though if it was me I wouldn't do that play twice.

As marcmurphy3 outlined ....Hogan got a $49K increase last week ....I'm not sure why you would bring Hogan in for just the one week ????? ....because he's slated for another $30K increase after the bye

IMO, you either brought Hoga in for the total increase .....or not at all, and waited on McKay after his bye

Am I right JuddgementDay :) .....a trade has to be worth more than $49K
