I suspect he’s year 12 schooling is taking a slight precedence over footy in another state, despite I’m sure the howls of protest on here that he doesn’t need schooling.

He really looks like he's improving each time there is vision of him.

Not really. As has been pointed out the seniors are flying.

Would be nice if we could get him over to play a game or two for our VFL side but I can' see the SANFL agreeing to that.

Not a good sign that he is still playing under 18s

So is Marsh and Schubert who seem like top 10. Leray too who seems a 1st rounder. Barker was too pre-ACL in Louis' team.

ngl in yr 12 if i had the opportunity to go interstate to play sports i would 100% do it, especially since it would mean the club you're tied to is gonna pick you since they're asking you to play one game in this hypothetical

plus "wasting" 1 saturday (travelling interstate) wouldn't cause the lad to fail year 12, because if that was the case i would've failed 10x over but i didn't

He’s gonna get picked up anyway so it doesn’t really matter if he plays one game or not, it’s probably to our benefit to have him underrated. I was just being devils advocate.

That’s true but it wouldn’t stop 98.9% of posters on here expecting a high pick and speculating on the players available. When it comes to draft and trade everyone shoots for the stars.

This was Mikunda's best performance of the Talent League season so far, racking up a huge amount of the footy and as is typical for him looking to attack with his disposals, pumping the ball inside F50 13 times for the game. He has a very high % of score involvements, but at times he can get overly ambitious with his decision making, a risk/reward style that can lead to a lot of turnovers.

Plenty of kids with tools just an inconsistent draft crop. Outside Sharp, Lindsay and maybe Grlj I don’t think I’d bet my life on a kid definitely playing 200 games of AFL football.

If he pressed for a senior game it would change things, but SANFL U18s is not a great standard, and the other players mentioned playing U18s, have a bigger hurt factor.

Just my opinion, lets see what happens
