Duff-Tytler apparently had a monster in the AGSV grand final on the weekend.

Interestingly if CDT’s Sri Lankan grandparents waited one extra year before immigrating to Australia in 1973, the Calder Cannons ruck would have been tied to Essendon’s Next Generation Academy.

Also here’s a video of Will Duursma v CDT in bball 😁 Thrillem gives CDT some of that euro flavour in the last few seconds.

I don't have preference of who take in the draft as long as nail the picks.

A second impressive VFL performance from Grlj in helping the Tigers to a comfortable win against Sandringham. Although not quite reaching the heights of last week, Grlj was again impactful both in disrupting the oppositions attacking moves and in using his dash to rebound. What’s perhaps been most impressive with this two game cameo has been his confidence in attacking the game and not taking a backwards step when it comes to the physical stuff against the more mature bodies at VFL level.

theres a fair bit of Zak batters about this kid. small but plays with that aggressiveness, physical and attacks the contest hard and has the lightning pace. feels like the exact type of player we would pick especially back in the dimma era. fk it lets lock him in blair.

He's a beauty

He looks a class above VFL. Few of his kicks would've looked a lot better if our players could mark the footy or just fumble. Those same kicks in our AFL team would break the game open

What impressed me about the young fella, he wasn't backward in telling the players where to position themselves. Pointing where he needed them to run too. He would certainly be a handy pick up

Is Josh Lindsay going to play VFL?
At this stage id be happy for the Tigs to take Duurssma and Grijl.
They both fit in with the draft class from last year quite well.
They can both play off half back for a few years until Hopper and Taranto are done.
I think talk of drafting Dursma is pointless. He’ll be gone by our first pick. Our only hope is that he refuses to be interviewed by WC and tells them to F-off. That most likely will not deter them.

Word is they love Sharp and it would make sense for them to take CDT.
Its a 50-50 chance IMO.

I agree it’s unlikely. Best hope is cdt has a massive finals.

BOB has been back in action for the last two weeks, playing SANFL reserves for North Adelaide and putting up strong numbers. Here he racked up a stack of the footy through the midfield, showing his pace, gut running to get from contest to contest and proving himself capable of matching it physically with the senior bodies at this level. His usually excellent kicking skills were a bit hit and miss in this one, but its good to see him getting somewhere near his best form after an injury interrupted campaign. He could be primed to make a late run up the draft ranks with a strong close to the season.

An excellent performance from LeRay who showed his positional versatility by playing as a third tall defender in this game. He used his height to disrupt in the air and then punished his less mobile opponents by running off them repeatedly to get involved in attacking moves higher up the ground.

Barker or LeRay if you were picking?
