Thanks Sandra 👍

Pending any go home factor I think WC take Duursma.

I did see on their board talk that him Greeves and CDT are flight risks but no idea how accurate that is.
I don't know how randos on a discussion board would have any idea who's a flight risk and who isn't. More likely to be a bunch of people in an echo chamber talking themselves into something.

In the '22 draft talk was that the Eagles liked Sheezel but decided to split their pick and trade back to take WA talent (Ginbey and Hewett) because Sheezel was a flight risk.

I reckon history suggests you just take the talent.

do not want to draft any flankers

2x mids + kellaway (3 mids)

or

cdt+mid+kellaway

because holy **** watching our vfl midfield with useless cat b rucks, bog average vfl listed midfielders, and maurice rioli jnr run around is doing my head in

if we're gonna get beaten in the midfield, i'd rather see players that have a future get beaten who will improve because of the experience

The shift of Willem out of the midfield continued here. He played as a key defender for the first three quarters of the game to decent effect, taking some intercept marks and showing that the increased time and space exiting defense helps his kicking skills significantly. With Gippsland trailing entering the fourth quarter, he was moved into the forward line and responded with a couple of goals to help surge his team to another victory and consolidate their lead at the top of the Talent League ladder.

Another midfield showing our deficiencies. The game doesn’t need slow players like Taranto and hopper. Dogs have 1 in libba and then absolute class and running with Ed Richards and bont. We need class and run desperately

If by some chance this kid ends up at Richmond
Take him to a barber and get a #1 cut
I hate these P**fy head bands that geelong players wear

If he wants to wear a head band then he can take Kappa's

Exact reason why I don’t want Sharp. Plodder.

No way! I don't want the Delilah on Sampson effect!

Thrillem is 191cm, is fast, agile and tough. Can play defence, midfield and forward all at an elite level. Can dominate in the air as a lead up forward or intercepting in defence. Can find it on both the inside and the outside. Has X factor, class and leadership. Time to tank for this Bont x Will Day hybrid.
No need to tank. We’ll just play our natural game. Garbage.

After missing a game Talor Byrne was back in action putting in a strong performance playing predominantly forward with only a brief rotation through the midfield. The change in role didn't prevent him from finding the footy, and using it well. He was an absolute pest to the opposition all game, applying huge amounts of defensive pressure and winning a number of free kicks which helped him hit the scoreboard. Lets hope he gets the call up to represent Vic Country this coming weekend.

Cody has become one of the most consistently prolific midfielders in the Talent League over the last two months of play and was on his way to another massive 30+ possession performance here before a wrist injury ended his game prematurely. He sustained the injury at the first bounce after half time and battled on manfully for a few more minutes before checking out with his team already well in control on the scoreboard.
