Ollie Greeves has been mister consistent, finding the footy and impacting the game at every level this year. In his return to talent league footy after an extended break to play in other competitions, Ollie found a stack of the footy as he always does, especially prolific in contested situations displaying his ability to swoop on loose balls and fight through tackles. He presented around the ground as an outlet and was strong in the air, displaying how his extra height for a mid gives him a point of difference. He's started to lay to rest question marks over his kicking efficiency and was again solid in that area here.

Gun. Give him a Richmond jumper now please

Its weird to me. I've got a number of ways to measure these things like view counts on the videos, engagement metrics on my xitter posts etc... for some reason Ollie Greeves is really not getting people excited right now.
Ok... I'll watch them all again :tearsofjoy:

Actually feel like I watched some of that video before in Lalor last year at the same ground with the link up play off the half back line right side of screen, the contested marks, the long range handballs and the breakaways from stoppage. :flushed:

Dyson Sharp, Noah Hibbens-Hargreaves, Josh Lindsey, Cooper Duff-Tytler, William Duursma and Ollie Greeves are the pick of the bunch for us imo.

Dyson Sharp could be playing AFL footy now. Noah H-H is a high quality forward/mid. Josh Lindsey is an elite half back ball user, always plays well. Cooper is a Luke Jackson type ruckman. William Duursama is highly skilled and can play inside/outside. And Ollie Greeves is just a bull that finds the ball, played with Smilie already.

No clear number 1 pick tbh. There are a few key position players that are putting their hands up but not sure if they will break into the top 10 with all the academy picks.

I think it’s all about balance this year.
Outside players are a big need for us as well as a replacement for big Nank.

Wouldn’t be against trading the kangaroos pick for an established young player or a combo of top 10/15 later picks.

I have a tendency to agree with this, i think essendons draft hamd would be the one, I'd consider trading our first one to them for their 2 firsts (not sure if they'd do it) then take a punt on 3/6 you said.

Marsh has been one of the most significant draft risers across this Champs series, leading the goal kicking for a dominant SA team that stomped the competition. The features of his game were all on display here, able to find space to lead up at the ball carrier, clunk marks on a full speed lead ala Mathew Lloyd, and capable of converting from anywhere with his elite set shot kicking.

The kid is a bust. Fooling yourself if you think otherwise.

He will be in a final, free inside 50 hear foot steps and drop a mark in the goal square just like his big brother.

Dud

Nah he’s plenty tough, just not a smart footballer. But not many at the top this year are.

He may well be but I'm not sure anyone wants him 'just because he gets lots of disposals'.

Id say its more to do with the fact he's tall, versatile and athletic more than anything else.

Lindsay isn’t really at the top of what our needs are to be honest.
He has an elite skill, but you would want him on the work rate level and agility level of an Errol Gulden or Josh Kelly that would justify using a top 2/3 pick in him.
I’m seeing a pinch hitting mid at best but a nice user off half back with low level defensive effort.
He is the exact type of player we need, that is also in our range and has a high likelihood of actually being the best in his position at AFL level, rather than a speculative non-well-rounded mid (who we can take with our other pick anyway)

We need Lindsays drive, run and ball use at half back/wing to go along with Banks.

This draft is weak, it's not a traditional pick 2/3, the picks you use are irrelevant - if he's the best, you take him.

Just as Lachie Ash went pick 4 in 2019.
