not flashy, dropped marks, missed handballs, lack of balance when puts the burners on and forward leaning posture in the run.

he could easily be a bust but the point is there are far better with more upside and far safer where our picks are at

Grij to me looks quite vanilla.

as for speed and endurance, it means little at this stage, Look at Dusty then he improved obvously from a number of preseasons got a better tank.

Grij might make it, of course he can, I have no reason to begrudge him, all the best for him, but far too risky at our picks.

if you want to compare a Zach Merret for example to Grij, Zach is far more balanced and as a result has far more composure. His left helps him to probably because little unconventional but Zach probably has superior IQ, not comparison really but I hope Grij goes well and he could develop a lot more still obviously. Zach has a more robust/neat running gate, far smoother

Yet he we all are sprouting our ‘expertise’ based on 5-minutes of highlights, a few stats and some basic combine testing like we know better.

I want us to get Robey, but if we don’t I won’t crucify the club as they’ll have 50x the data that I do.

yes but the vision is part of the audit.

aka, why many had Heppell over Conca etc...

For example Robey has better balance than Grij and Robey is a taller player and stronger, one can see it in the vision, better mark, better forward arguably. better versatility, lol, the list goes on


in the AFL competition it is hard for clubs to be corrupt. they have to compete and if they stay down too long they lose supporters.

if other areas in the industry are corrupt, well that is another story

No one rated Conca. How pulled him out that high in the draft is still a mystery. He never looked worth a first his entire career. An all time howler and probably worse than Tambling.

In Cotch's draft it was him and Kruzeur his mate the ruck for no.1. We where lucky CFC wanted the ruck.

Grij is not even in the ball park pre-draft.
