I've watched a fair bit of CDT on replay and some complain about his ruck work needs improvement but its his marking that needs the most improvement, alot of his ground ball gets are follow ups from dropping marks. If he improves that he will be an absolute weapon.Nowhere have I seen it written that CDT is a strong mark which is a real concern for a big man.
Still trying to work out how Samson Ryan was drafted given his dinner plate hands. How did we recruit a big man who has zero overhead marking ability ?????????
Ready made kpd’s with his athleticism, about to hit his prime, would be their #1 key defender…Who suggested pick 11 for Young?

If we get XT and Grlj a F1 and move 38 into the 20s, that will be an incredible result, especially if that 20s pick gets us Barker, Emmett, O taylor, NHH, or Phillipou and Kellaway, happy daysStrongest links to XT & Grlj tells me we may trade both picks 3 and 4 and slide back slightly to receive a future first + possible sliding our pick 38 up a bit.

They should haveHow good is your source? I remember last year you said that Adelaide would take Harvey Langford ahead of Sid Draper.
He's the one I think is most likely for us with the other being robey or grilj.Broad and Vlaustin will be gone in 1-2 years.
X Taylor is the perfect replacement for one of them and also to team up with Trainor, Gibcus & Brown.
I know. I was parroting some of the reasons given as to why we’d get pick 11.Doesn’t mean he’s any good, would struggle to get a game for us in 2026 and we could be the wooden spooners
Essendon also being linked to XT though. He's not a reach at our picks.Strongest links to XT & Grlj tells me we may trade both picks 3 and 4 and slide back slightly to receive a future first + possible sliding our pick 38 up a bit.
Comparing rankings v mocks and players linked, Grlj seems the one we are unlikely to take. XT is in the range, query on the needs basis.Essendon also being linked to XT though. He's not a reach at our picks.
Taylor represents the best of all possible worlds. He addresses a need and isn’t a speculative reach. And because he addresses a need he allows us the luxury of selecting the most likely best open pool talent available in Robey.Broad and Vlaustin will be gone in 1-2 years.

Everything can change but a stupid team is going to make a stupid decision if CDT/Robey are still on the board and we are in the perfect spot to take advantage of itOn the proviso Melbourne has such a mega h*rd-on for Robey. I'd have no problem with giving Pick 3 & 38 if Melb offered picks 7 & 8. it is dumb as dog doodoo for Melb to do, but if offered, I would have zero problem, from only my personal opinion, for Richmond to accept. Only something utterly ridiculously outlandish in our favour is where I would consider any sliding of picks from our current picks.
Under this scenario (and open pool, remove academy aligned players) I would then go Sharp @4, X Taylor @7 & Grlj @8 (assumption of Dursma CDT taken 1&2). Essendon could stuff that with their picks though
BTW, I want us to keep our picks and take Robey & Sharp (again if Dursma CDT are taken 1&2)
You have more chance of winning the next 10 Power Ball draws than this ever happening.Strongest links to XT & Grlj tells me we may trade both picks 3 and 4 and slide back slightly to receive a future first + possible sliding our pick 38 up a bit.
If Robey and CDT were on the board at our picks i could see them offering 7 8 and the gc 1st to move up to 3 4You have more chance of winning the next 10 Power Ball draws than this ever happening.
No one is trading a F1 for a pick upgrade in a shallow draft.
Grlj has attracted attention all year for his ability to attack the game with explosive pace and agility, dancing past tacklers and breaking lines. These qualities were backed up by an excellent showing in combine testing. Grlj has largely played through the midfield in his top age season but has shown his versatility playing on a wing or a flank in the past and seems likely to start in an outside role while he develops and adjusts to the pace of AFL play.
If Richmond did this would you accept it or wonder what is going on?If Robey and CDT were on the board at our picks i could see them offering 7 8 and the gc 1st to move up to 3 4
