Personally i think that would be a pretty good position to be in as they would then have the ability to bid on the GC & Lions players if they wished pushing the dean bid back as much as possible but they wont have enough points to match both Dean & Ison even with Richmond giving #38Richmond trading pick 4 to Carlton for 9 & 11 then bidding on Patterson at 3, Annable at 4, then Dean at 5 would be the best draft night experience ever.
Sam the GrillerWho are these mids with pace( agree we do need)
Grlj, Cumming, Robey clearly are better choices imoWho are these mids with pace( agree we do need)

Can't see that happening.Could see 3 and 38 for 7, 37, F1 happening
That’s not me, matter of fact people have pointed the finger at it being a different poster from this board
Not with our crack Conditioning Guru.Plus there will always be opportunity through injury....
KFC is just around the cornerwhy does everyone assume I eat kfc
red rooter >>> kfc
Just because you believe something strongly doesn't make it any more potentially true than if you believe something moderately. Especially when crystal balling.C. It is my opinion that there are no elite mids in this draft. It is my utter conviction that if there is one, it won't be Sharp or Cumming. Phillipou is the best chance in my view - should we use pick 4 on him? I'm all for splitting pick 4 if it means we get Phillipou and another good pick, peferably next year.
D. It makes perfect sense not to draft mids just for the sake of it if you don't rate them. Recruiters are paid to make these calls based on their experience and judgement. It's a prediction.

Exactly what we saw when Short was missing and we were a more cohesive unit because of it.Could easily see him replacing Jayden Short in 16 months time
Has the speed and endurance now and is a great kick and reader of the ball. His marking is very good and can intercept
Easy to see what his future role is 'If you want to see it '
Depends how many times we play the Crows. You think Lynch has 2 years in him?
hicksy's 2024 mock draft as a point of reference

And yet you are so adamant about who we must take. I think there's a log in your eye.Just because you believe something strongly doesn't make it any more potentially true than if you believe something moderately. Especially when crystal balling.
And you don't know any more about the recruiters than the mock draft journos. Unless you have spoken to them.
Nah not him hahaIts Tigerbob isnt it?
I’d love to see Brown move up to a wing to utilise his kicking weapons more. Not having a crack at him, but I can't quite get my head around what Tom Brown's role in the team is?
Not really a run and carry, not really an interceptor, not really a lock-down defender on either talls or smalls?
Just coz I'm thinking about the backline and how much of a need X Taylor would be.
Only thing that would make this funnier would be with 1 of those picks we traded to the crows for their future first as that's what Carlton wanted to do with them.Richmond trading pick 4 to Carlton for 9 & 11 then bidding on Patterson at 3, Annable at 4, then Dean at 5 would be the best draft night experience ever.

Thank god we play after MiddayIf we take Taylor & Grlj, I'm not sure how i will be able to get up in the mornings.
Elite kicking is better utlised at half-back than wing. Wing is for eite runners.I’d love to see Brown move up to a wing to utilise his kicking weapons more.
Nice mark for his size, can kick long range goals.
I feel it suits us up the field more.
Would also then allow a Taylor to slot in if we take him
