Has Essendon told CFC not bidding on Dean so 9 for 21 and 27?
The 3 for us could be Sharp, Robey & Cumming. My take would be Sharp then Robey. Cumming and Robey are both mid/forwards so I would go with the one with the highest ceiling.

This is going to sound harsh on the kid but I think the only way I'd leave the draft unhappy is if we take Xavier Taylor.

This is speculative but is there a chance Robey could shoot up a few more cms like whats happened to Smillie and he ends up being a second tall forward at AFL level?
He is on the younger side of his draft year and has previously had a massive growth spurt.

I have not seen heaps of Robey but he looks more forward/mid than mid/forward currently

Don't know why people feel this way. Blair said we are trying to build a premiership team.
Even Robey said Taylor was the difference between them winning/losing the Grand Final this year.

Well the kid is definately considered in the top 5-6 players available in the open draft
players that look like being in consideration are CDT/Robey , Cumming , Taylor , Sharp and Grlj if you listen to the linked players. If we pass on Taylor then Bombers will take him.
Just have to believe that the list management and recruiting staff know their shit and there is good reason for drafting him
would not surprise me if its a Robey/Taylor combo as we like drafting kids that are linked and team mates
same could apply for Sharp/Cumming/Kellaway combo

Robey said in an interview when they X-rayed his collar bone you could see he still had growth plates so I think it's fair to say he will grow a few more cm.
Just like I'll be growing a few cm when I see him in a Richmond jumper on Wednesday.

There you go, so really he could end up as a KPF that has plenty of craft below the knees for ground balls.
I completely agree. If we pick him up it should be as a forward who can pinch in the middle in doses.

Maybe the mail on pairing the two SA boys is correct but dependent on what Essendon and Richmond are specifically working towards which is yet to play out.
If Essendon have been trying to get our pick 3 for Robey, and we have told them to pee off unless we get 2 first rounders, Essendon rightly won't trade 5 and 6 but instead then get Carltons pick 9 as reported and trade it with pick 5 for our 3 (as envisaged).
With Robey taken by Essendon at 3, and us originally going to take Robey and Grlj at 3 and 4, we then take Sharp and Cumming at 4 and 5 in Robeys place and Grlj slips to 9 where we also take him.
