Assuming WC get that extra early pick then we take whoever slips. My only issue there is whether CDT is worth it that early. Quite happy for our drafting team to make that call. CDT move so smoothly and looks like he could be a unicorn - but I just don't see the damage yet.

Sharp I'd take at #1, as that super competitive beast who won't allow the oppo to control the ball and does damage himself. When the whips are cracking that type is worth their weight in gold.

Duursma, looks great, and will be gone.

After that a lot of good players will be available to us. Not sure who to get excited about. I reckon pick for needs - so likely speed and skill, with a good contest attitude.

Its funny because its Carlton but really they should just make it harder to match/limit how many and also reign in the eligibility for NGA. If you capped it to 1 1st rounder every 2 years it would be fine.

Does anyone really care if GC get Uwland? Its the getting Patterson & Addinsall on top, same with 2023 when they got 4 x 1st rounders and then Lombard in the year between.

If they got Walter then Uwland they're getting a great return on their investment and its not ****ing the entire pool up.

I just want us to have access to the best players. Access to others f/S and academy while on the bottom and our own when we are up the top like every selfish campaigner out there.
