Sure has had a slow start to the year but im confident he gets better towards the end of season and still goes top 5

The idea that the only way to fix our midfield problems (as it currently seems to be presented) is to draft midfielders is quite frankly a simple and narrow minded approach to the issue.

Once again playing primary out of position as a key defender (although he did get a run onball in Q4), Willem turned in a fairly strong performance here. He took a couple of nice intercept marks but was most impactful with his involvement in the Academy teams run out of defense. I've had a watch on his disposal by foot this year and he put some of those concerns to rest with some composed and attacking darts onto his teammate's chest.

Think we should go for Duursma providing he demonstrates the ability to win his fair share of contested ball. Hopefully he plays on ball in the champs. Projects to be a Will Day clone if he can prove he can play as a legit midfielder, and Day is exactly the type of player we need.

One of the most quietly impressive performers across the two Academy games was Harley Barker from SA. In a team with a multitude of players competing for time in their preferred role, Harley played exclusively wing in both games and looked extremely comfortable doing so with attributes very much suited to it. He's tall, rangy and clean in the air which allows him to present down the line as an exit option or for a switch of play, and allows him to impact as a third up in marking contests at either end of the ground. He's a powerful runner with seemingly excellent endurance and has tidy and efficient disposal to help link the play while rarely biting off more than he can handle.

Could work in our favor if we end up with pick 3+, he may not make it that far if he settles into midfield this year and dominates.

How would having one of the best rucks in the comp not help out midfield?

Patterson has been very impressive and I would say he’s moved up the boards of a lot of teams.

Onley on the other hand is probably trending the opposite direction. His kicking is pretty average.

I would also have Sharp, Uwland and Lindsay above Annable.

Yeah with guys like Wright and Grlj coming along as well I don't see how Onley can be top 10, may not even be top 20

Archie May flying at subicao , avg 7 marks a game 15p and 2g , reckon he’s a certainty to be selected at MSD , not sure he fits our needs tho I’d rather him on list than Ryan and a couple of others , only 20yo
