First of 2025 to get things started, and sadly Gab Pound and Brooke Vickers will spend some time on the sidelines.

Brooke Vickers (wrist)
  • Modified program

  • Underwent surgery for a broken and dislocated wrist last week: has returned to light skills this week.

Gab Pound (shin)
  • Recovery phase
  • Availability: Round 7-8
  • Sustained a small stress fracture in her shin following GWS practice match: will look to integrate back into running in three weeks.

Maria Cannon (wrist)
  • Full training
  • Available for selection

Vickers just can't get a good run at it.

Feel she could be a really handy player for us if she can get fit.

  • Suffered a low grade calf strain in the game against Brisbane.

Abbey out until Round 8 - big loss. Sigh.

Yasmin out until Round 9-11.

Brooke Vickers test.

Abbie McKay (Hamstring)

  • Recovery Phase
  • Availability: Round 8
  • Abbie reported hamstring awareness following the game against the Western Bulldogs. Following this, she underwent a scan which revealed a strain to her right hamstring which will see her sidelined for the next three weeks.

Yasmin Duursma (Collarbone)

  • Recovery Phase
  • Availability: Round 9-11
  • Yasmin experienced a fractured collarbone after a collision during the second quarter in the game against the Western Bulldogs on Saturday.

Brooke Vickers (Wrist)

  • Full Training
  • Availability: Test
  • Will aim to train fully this week to be available to play

  • Tara suffered a foot injury in the late stages of the game vs Geelong. She will be unavailable for the game vs Sydney.

Mimi is out with a calf strain this week too now :(


Mimi Hill will not be available for the Round 9 match against Sydney after scans revealed a calf strain which occurred in today's training session. Hill's return to play timeline will be determined next week.

Huge. Both Hill and McKay are tests. Potentially we will be able to field our best side this Friday.

(Plus…Hill and McKay technically both got rested then? Will need them to be firing to beat the Eagles away)

Conversely, Eagles also potentially back to full power. And they similarly rested Ella Roberts last week. Midfield battle is going to be huge.
