Alright screw it, making an executive decision.

For the purposes of stamp distribution, a 'complete' team has the following:
  • 22 players averaging 85+
  • One player (can be Flex, F6, D6, M8 or R2) averaging whatever.
You can still post your completed incomplete team in this thread, but expect a barrage of red stamps in reply.

Complete (sh*t). 5 trades left, want to spend 2 on McAuliffe and whoever p*sses me off next out of Rankin, Daniels or Piggy to King Max.

It's my first year of SC, how many trades is wise to keep for emergencies from here on in?

From experience, coming out of the byes with 6+ and a completed team is ideal. Four at a minimum, usually. Have had 1-2 years where I've scraped by with three, but that requires a lot of luck.

Behold, my pile of garbage.

I somehow have ended up with 10 'fieldable' defenders, no Butters and no Gawn, but it is what it is.

Bring on the 2025 planning thread 🤗

Just on this – I could also move McCarthy up to flex and upgrade my 22 instead.

So basically the equation is:
  • Roberts and Mills on field (McCarthy on the bench as my 24th)
  • Butters and McCarthy on field (Johnson as my 24th).
Both would be 'complete' with the same amount of trades. Idk if I can trust a one-gamer for the rest of the year though, and he would be handy bench cover.

Side by side below – let me know what you think is better/less shit?

Think you could get a better score with Butters + looping McCarthy and Zak Johnson in comparison to Mills + Roberts.

Just depends if you’d rather quality of extra points on field or the depth

3 trades left and if the Pou can come back from injury and be the saviour at F6 I thought I was buying a month ago I’ll be a happy man.

If not well I’ve still got 3 trades 😂

Was looking at the price I traded my premos in at this yr

Whitfield 595K (Rd 4)
Daicos 584K (Rd 6)
Neale 562K (Rd 8)
Dunks 529K (Rd 8)
Warner 488K (Rd 9)
Zorko 501K (Rd 9)
Sinclair 529K (Rd 10)
Serong 528K (Rd 11)
Merrett 553K (Rd 12)
Bont 643K (Rd 13)
Butters 563K (Rd 14)
Macrae 490K (Rd 15)
Darcy 461K (Rd 15)

The 3 players traded in >563K were Bont, Daicos and Whit and could have picked them up significantly cheaper. Whit the only real win at the higher price given it was in Rd 4 so got his good scoring for a while.

Key learning I think is it rarely works to pay up for points
