JHF or Darcy? I can't decide which to bring in (for Lohmann).
One of the big questions of the week.

For mine - JHF.

Darcy will need a lot of marks or a lot of goals to put up a good score. Balta gets the match up and may limit Darcy's scoring. St K didn't have a defender to stop Darcy last week. JHF won't get tagged, can rack up possessions and also has DPP.

Both are decent value, but picking KPP is a risk.

Reckon Miller takes him. He kept Hogan goalless. Then again Treacy kicked 6 on him with Freo waltzing it out the middle the way I expect the Dogs to do as well.

JHF is apparently available despite that shoulder injury he got late, there was footage of him at training and he was barely moving that shoulder

Darcy is a unicorn of a player, taking out his injury game he's scoring well for a KPP

Darcy's averaging 98.5 in non injured games

Not sure regular KPP rules apply to him

Hope we return to the days of having fantasy relevant key forwards, but I think DPP made that all a bit irrelevant.

Was good having N.Riewoldt, Franklin and J.Brown at F1, F2 and F3 back in the day.

When did we get DPP, I remember the days of Patrick Dangerfield, Tom Rockliff, Dusty Martin, Jack Macrae all being forward line staples.

Have a look at some of these throw back forward lines I found online:

Riewoldt, Fanklin, Pav etc were still getting it done in seasons when we had DPP.

Although I do remember rolling out Fevola, Brown, Riewoldt my first year playing (although I think that was because I thought the aim of the game was to create the best football team, not score the most points).

If JHF doesn't get up this week, then easy choice is Darcy - better value than anyone else in our forward lines.

His stats for the first 5 games this year before getting injured in rd 6 - lot of marks and the highest scores were when he kicked 4-5 goals. So long as he is taking grabs and kicking goals, no worries, but I feel teams will start double-teaming him and if he isn't marking/goaling, his scores will drop.

How much do we value cash gen this season?

Target is Dale for both options.

Washcroft (Av 93, BE 113) will (hopefully) net more points this week but will lose $$$. Will be traded out either this roundnor next.

McAuliffe (Av 74, BE 37) is the opposite - lower expected score but will be worth more next week.

I kinda want to hold Wash for his score but think McA has some cash to gain.

Thoughts?

I would say points normally but Washcroft is playing at GMHBA and could score less than McAuliffe anyway

Salary cap and player prices have gotten way out of hand. More than doubled since then that’s messed up

Should have to average well over 100 to be over $1M. 95 is a pisstake

Very accurate it looks absolutely cooked. Port are ridiculous
Alir hurt his knee in that game and he was wincing and looked like was in quite a bit of pain when they were strapping it. He was still limping when testing out the knee and then he goes back on. Looked like he was struggling to run and was still limping. He played another quarter before they subbed him off. They reckon if the game wasn't over, they would've kept him on.

Yeah I noticed that too. Little bit embarrassing lol, players health comes first

that nic nat coxy combo..

Im trading Dunkley to Hewett. Why would you want Dunkley anyway?
I agree with the Dunkley remarks but couldn't that apply to Hewett too? Averaging 90 over last 5 games, and it drops below 90 if you include the last 6 games. His form at the start of the season was impressive but wasn't sustainable. I know Walsh is out now but he was out while Hewett was putting up poor scores.

Hi everyone, first time poster.
Upgrading Lohmann. Trying to decide between saving a bit of cash and going with JHF or spending a bit more and getting Luke Jackson. People at my work are all telling me different things so hoping for some clarity :)

Personally I can't get around Jackson, role is always at risk.
