I logged on 3 devices (phone on 5G, home laptop on wifi (VPN) and work laptop on wifi) at 9.15, 9.20 and 9.30. Queue moved at the same pace throughout. The first device had a queue of 27,000 when I logged on and got through at around 10.35. Then it wouldn’t accept a barcode that I used for the QF and ballot (?) I had to manually type it in before it accepted.
But I went as quick as I could selecting best available etc and by the time it all loaded I got through with like 2 min to spare in my allotted time. Very stressful.
Please just win now Cats!!!
Good luck to everyone else, we need as many Cats fans as possible

Does anyone know how restricted the "restricted viewing" is for bay N54 - it was noted as a restricted viewing seat which I nearly took before something opened up in M3

Curious for next time

Probably a cameraman

Probably a cameraman

That's what i was thinking as the ticket was row 2 - when I clicked on "view from seat", it came up at "unavailable" which was annoying

It's something I'll keep an eye on for future situations like this

The only other thing I thought it could be would be an excess of those safety rails.

Recon if I copped one of those seats I'd take it - Level 2 is the duck's nuts - easier to get beers, food, toilet and a great view, even if you have to lean around the cameraman or miss a bit of action in a pocket.

Jumped in line at about 9:50am, with 37,000 in front. An hour later entered codes and one was incorrect! Called my mate to get his correct code and just about to pay.....timed out.

Jumped back in with another 25,000 in front. Just managed to get M36.
Need a drink after that!

Check codes people 😆

You can see everything from level 2. Olympic used to be my preferred section but they got rid of the bar where you could also watch behind the glass. Ponsford is now my preferred level 2 spot.

Horrible experience, still jammed for twenty minutes on : Fans ahead of you in the queue: 144.

Took me 25 minutes to get through 48880 fans earlier this morning, and got in, only to be timed out
being returned from Accessible questions and bookings to the front page - 5 times!
Ridiculous treatment, so 30 minutes on phone not answered, then filled out the accessible form only for it to be not accepted by their email.

I'm going to sue these people.

Er, this happens every year. Not just AFL, but NRL, Tennis, F1, etc etc etc

All these a$$...s through "connections" or corporate hookups flood the events, many dont even watch the event, they just get sh*tfaced, make fools of themselves, but love to brag on Insta and even LI these days that "they were there". it's quite sad, but the way the world works.
Anyone can buy corporate seats. Just pull your wallet out.
I paid 8k for F1 tickets + accommodation for guests + plus dinners. (wasn't worth it).

I've honestly forgotten how many Aus open finals I've been to.

The biggest problem is this.
Sure, gouge the sponsors and corporates for tickets.

But the 17,000 (or what ever it is) club supporters should only pay $100 for the GF.
Make your money on the elite, and leave mums and dads alone.

It's a far from perfect process. Regardless of whether you're a long standing club member or MCC member.

People like to sling mud at MCC members but I've had messages from 5 or 6 full MCC members (20 years plus) who all went into the online purchasing process and all missed out on a seat. But thew flipside of that is the MCC members (paying the same annual subscriptions) who were able to purchase a ticket for themselves + a guest pass.

Terrible queuing process this morning. It just wouldn’t let me select a seat, and kept freezing.

I got a restricted view seat in the end; going by myself and it’s all I can afford. On face value, it’s probably a better seat than the back level 4 which were also $65 (+$9 service!) . I’m glad the standing and restricted view went on sale at the same time as all other tickets though, which isn’t always the cases

Sorry to hear. What an absolute joke they are.

Got in the queue about 11.45 and was about 4500 in line. Got through at about 12.10

Couldn't get anything on level 2 or level 1 undercover. Ended up in m21 in the open so pray no rain!

Thank you. From what I've heard today their system is showing no friendship or favour to anyone.
Happens every year, and yet this mob cleans up with their commission, it's infuriating.
My cleaner just said she got frozen on the payment page, as did winty.
My neighbour just about hurled their PC through my window, my Mum rang almost crying..
For us, every year I'm going to report them, they just do not care to help people with a disability,
rather they make it impossible to navigate their process, and facilitate wheelchairs, they shut us down.
Won't answer their "special' phone line, email link for "special" form doesn't work.

I'm very happy for all of you who were successful. Cheer heaps for us at home, you are lucky.
EDIT: got in again on another screen, and just about nothing left. Thanks AFL rich crunts.

What are your issues with the accessible seating process? I regularly book accessible tickets and will be doing so tomorrow for the Pies v Lions game, haven't had any major issues this season including booking for finals, ANZAC Day etc. I can try to assist if you like?
