2025 List Management Discussion - Part 4

Now that our season is over, and news is starting to break - it's time for a fresh thread.

This thread is to discuss all things list management - trades, draft, free agency, delistings and more.
As we are now officially in our off-season, we'll be wanting to keep this thread more strictly on-topic than the previous iterations.
Be respectful. You are allowed to disagree with someone - but play the ball, not the man. Repeat offenders will have their posting rights revoked.

Thanks to Lore once again for this incredibly useful spreadsheet.

Free Agency Period:
Friday, October 3rd - Friday, October 10th
Trade Period: Monday, October 6th - Wednesday, October 15th

If Neddy Flanders is silly enough to choose NOT to jump on the Saints train with us…. What do you campaigners think about us using pick 7 to chase Z.Duursma?

Plays a high half forward role and was pick 4 in an excellent draft. Development has been neglected in the Kangas cesspool in circumstances that nobody could thrive in. I think he will develop nicely in a good team

With the potential loss of Roma to the Cats and some of us hoping that fast tracks Dodson, it's interesting to note that, if I recall correctly, the Cats actually took his SA ruckman team mate just before we took Dodson last year. Does anyone know how the bloke Geelong took went this year?
dont know, but he is not even being named as a possible if they fail to get an outsider in,conway and edwards being the 2 named outside of stanley and blicavs

Zane Duursma plays for North Melbourne

I’d be pretty disappointed if we did that if I’m honest.
Old bump (man this thread moves quick) but compare Trac in hospital to Dow and the story the club did about that.

Player welfare (physical, mental and emotional) matters, I reckon we get that and I love it.

Bailey Humphrey would cause significant movement down south
Nah.

I was a fan at one stage and thought he would suite us in the draft. He had a Toby Greene vibe about him, found a lot of the ball as a mid/fwd but I’m not sold on him now.

He’s improving and may still break out with some solid midfield time but I’d be wary of paying what the GC will demand.

Placebo.

But all those round marks (bruises actually) must mean something is happening.
I find it helps a bit loosening everything up and getting some lactic out in the short term after hard training days.

Might be psycho somatic but it’s also usually done as part of a remedial massage

At my age I don’t need cupping, a slight bump & the bruises show, which does mean something…. I’m about to bleed🥴

Who needs cupping, just grow old & you get it for free. 🙄

Placebos are very effective. If you believe that it works it does.

Edmund just said Flanders to St Kilda is going to happen
When the mafia took him to the Italian restaurant, they told him if he didn't pick the Saints, he'd end up with a horse's head in his bed.....and the rest is history.

My partner does acupuncture for pain management and its very effective for it. The needles are doing sweet **** all but it absolutely works well to convince the brain that pain isnt required at that moment. So yes, they can be very effective.
