Think we are very much overvaluing a slowing down Marshall and Steele on here. At best I think we can muster a late first and a mid second between them.

Especially for Steele who has looked a shadow of himself since 2021/22 and is getting progressively worse each season.

Still worried that there's no discussions or links to a key forward. Again it feels like we're putting all our hopes on King. I just don't see Keeler moving the needle.

If you get TDK (and it would probably be a PR disaster if you dont) it would be best if Marshall was moved on. I could see him fitting in very well at Geelong! Keeler will be a great chop out I reckon and will offer a lot more flexibility. I reckon when the penny drops for Keeler he will be special. He is showing some great signs.

The big question would be if Marshall does leave, what can you get in exchange?

Still contracted for another 2 years would take mid teens pick wouldn’t let him go for anything less

I wonder how contract talks go when this happens "Tom we still love you but gonna knock a few hundred K off your asking price sorry brother, you put in a few stinkers"

Was on 600k AFAIK. But it was about other clubs offering more. Even if he was on 750k he may now get 850k. Not unreasonable to suggest a team could offer 900k.

Where has Lyon said he is not on 1m though? I have never heard this. All the articles that reference the deal say around 1m.

I don't even rate King, but 1m isn't even that excessive. I think it is more the timing and the length of the deal people have an issue with.
